EL DORADO 1

El Dorado 1 is an all ages campground and offers the highest quality of RV camping located closest to the venue entrance, cyber tent and clubhouse.

NO SAVING SPACES - Arrive together to camp together

It is also the only camp area that offers electrical hook ups for the entire area (30 & 50 amps). Only a Limited # of 50 amp hook ups are available to purchase and will sell out fast!

The Eldorado 1 (30) amp 125 volt power.

If your vehicle exceeds your 30 amp power limit and pops the breaker,
you potentially may affect two of your neighbor's power. If your vehicle
exceeds the 30 amp 110 volt limit , you will be warned and the breaker will
be re-set. After a second offense of over amperage on a 30 amp breaker, you
will be disconnected from the El Dorado Power grid with no refund.

The Eldorado 1 (50) amp 220 volt power.

If your vehicle exceeds your 50 amp power limit and pops the breaker,
you potentially may affect two of your neighbor's power. If your vehicle
exceeds the 50 amp 220 volt limit , you will be warned and the breaker will
be re-set. After a second offense of over amperage on a 50 amp breaker, you
will be disconnected from the El Dorado Power grid with no refund.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the close proximity of the festival entrance, vehicles are not permitted to enter or exit El Dorado 1 between the hours of 10pm and 12:30am on Saturday and Sunday for pedestrian traffic safety.

This area will also contain the *ADA ACCESSIBLE section. To camp ADA you must have a state-issued accessible permit. To purchase accessible camping tickets please GO HERE - non layaway). You can choose full El Dorado 1 amenity packages as explained below, or pick the option for NO power at the price of $250 that includes people pass wristbands for up to 6 of your party FOR ADA ONLY.

$750 (+ applicable charges) - Includes one 20x50 RV space (1 steering wheel), 30amp electrical and camping amenities. This package includes up to 8 camping passes (people camping passes) which will be distributed at time of check in.
$850 (+ applicable charges) - Includes one 20x50 RV space (1 steering wheel), 50amp electrical and camping amenities. This package includes up to 8 camping passes (people camping  passes) which will be distributed at time of check in.
$50 (+ applicable charges) - Additional RV People Pass.  Additional RV People Pass (For extra people who later want to join you in onsite camping)
$100 (+ applicable charges) - Extra car - If you are TOWING an extra CAR BEHIND your RV and wish to park it with in your 20x50 RV spot....* You don't need this if you park your extra car in the Free Tow Vehicle Parking Lot.

INTERNATIONAL
International is a "family" oriented campground and will enforce a strict noise curfew. This will accommodate fewer vehicles making your experience more intimate. There are no electrical hook ups.

$50 (+ applicable charges) - Extra car - If you are TOWING an extra CAR BEHIND your RV and wish to park it with in your 20x50 RV spot...*You don't need this if you park your extra car in the Free Tow Vehicle Parking Lot

EL DORADO 2 - Tickets for El Dorado 2 are no longer available.
El Dorado 2 is a more cost effective campground geared towards people that may like to celebrate a bit later than others. Although we have an enforced curfew in other sites, this area is recommended for those younger that can be active and louder after the show. There are no electrical hook ups.

FORUM TENT CAMPING
The Forum area is for “TENT” campers only!

NO SAVING SPACES - Arrive together to camp together

Each camper will have an 8x8 space (aprox. 64 square feet). It is a beautiful serene grassy area perfectly suited for tents located across from the main venue entrance and offers quiet private surroundings. The Forum offers tent campers their own free private parking lot located directly behind the grass line. All camping amenities included. Yes you can visit any of the other RV areas too.

Types of tickets for FORUM:
$50 (+ applicable charges) - Tent Camper People Pass. If you plan on camping in the Forum, EACH adult over age 14 needs this pass. You can share tents or spots but you still EACH need one of these passes to camp if you are over age 14. Kids 14 & under are free with legal guardian.

52/MADISON OVERNIGHT RV PARKING (Opens at 6pm Friday 4/24/09) . Tickets for this lot are no longer available.
If you're not camping onsite but are looking for a close by place to park your RV, this is a spot for you.

$25 (+ applicable charges) - Includes one parking space in this lot, good from 4/24 - 4/27.

Must be purchased separately from your festival tickets order. NO onsite camping amenities. This is just parking. RVs may enter/exit this lot. This lot will have security. You will NOT have access to onsite campgrounds or their privileges and amenities unless you purchase an RV people pass from one the campgrounds above. Yes you can sleep in your rv.

* All RVs, trailers & other such vehicles must be classified as a "vehicle made for sleeping" to enter onsite camping.   * Each Sleeping Vehicle will get a 20x50 square foot area.
* Free campers parking lot is located directly across way from el Dorado 1 (see map above).   * You will see signs directing you to camping Will Call and Check in as you approach the polo field. See map above.
* Camping opens 4/23 at 6pm and is only open for check in & will call pick up during the following designated hours:
Thu 4/23: 6pm - Midnight
Fri 4/24 & Sat 4/25: 6am - 1am
Sun 4/26 6am - close of festival /Monday - Check out by Noon

El DORADO 1 AMENITIES ACCESSABLE BY ALL ONSITE CAMPERS
THE CLUBHOUSE
This 21+ over hot spot will be open Thursday & Friday nights from 6pm - mid for the early birds. It will feature a full bar and Karaoke both nights. Ask the camp counselors to point you in the right direction. Sat/Sun hours TBA.

  THE BLOODY MARY BAR & BREAKFAST
Also located at the Clubhouse. Open 7a - 12noon each day. It will feature the newly famous Bloody Mary bar along with other cocktails plus the best choices in breakfast (Breakfast burrito's, bacon/egg Croissants, Donuts, Fruit & More).
CENTER CAMP
The middle of El Dorado 1 will offer an information tent, lost and found and general store that will be open from 10am on Thursday until... TBA
  CYBER CAFE
Also located at Center Camp, this area will feature free Wifi (yes so bring your laptop), cell phone recharging, computer & printing stations and a laptop-check for safe keeping. Open from... TBA
**** ONSITE CAMPING RULES ****
* No ATV's, Golf Carts or motorized recreational vehicles.   * No pets allowed
* Each camper must have a full price people camping wristband and a ticket to the festival.   * No alcohol, glass containers, weapons, drug paraphernalia or drugs allowed
* All campers must be 18 years of age or older or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.   * Venue is not responsible for any materials misplaced, lost or stolen.
* Campers are expected to behave in a manner that is courteous to other campers. Noise curfew is at 2:00am (except for El Dorado 2).   * Feel free to bring your own food and beverages into the camping area, however no open fires, gas, charcoal, or any other cooking devices are allowed outside. No outdoor cooking.
* Camping wristbands are not good for entrance to the festival.   * All campers are subject to search upon entry

How do I get tickets?
All camping tickets are available through all Ticketmaster.com or charge by phone (layaway not available via phone). For a list of charge by phone numbers click here. Scroll up for other ticket links. Bring your ticket to check into the campground.  Wristbands will be issued at that time. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS TO YOUR SPECIFIC LOT. 
When / How about Checking into the campground?
You will see signs directing you to camping Will Call and Check in as you approach the polo field. Camping opens 4/23/08 at 6pm and is only open for check in & will call pick up during the following designated hours:
Thu 4/23: 6pm - Midnight

Can we/How can we camp next to each other if we are not arriving together?
We're sorry but there are no saving spots for friends. You should travel together and arrive together to be placed near each other.
Can I buy camping tickets and sleep in my car parked in the onsite camping parking lot?
No. You can however buy a overnight RV parking pass for the 52/madison lot. $25.00 (plus applicable fees) . CLICK HERE
If I am TENT camping, what size tent can we bring/how much space do we get?
If you are not sharing a tent with anyone else, it may be as large as 8' x 8' (aprox. 64 square feet). If you are sharing a tent with other onsite campers your tent may take up an additional 8' x 8' (64 square feet) of space per person.
Where is campsite car or tow vehicle parking?
Campsite parking is free and next to El Dorado 2 or behind the forum for tent campers. See Map HERE. You pick up your parking pass when you get your wristbands at the time you check into onsite camping.
May I drive in/out of camping parking?
Yes, but no guarantee of re-entry to that lot. These lots fill & empty. First come first serve. (you may end up parking further away and having to move your car back much later).
Will there be a lost and found for Onsite Camping?
Yes, Onsite Camping lost and found will be located inside the Center Camp of El Dorado 1.
Will there be free bathrooms/showers? Handicap accessible? Private?
Yes, there will free bathrooms and free showers available. Separate M/F trailers (with individual privacy) and there will be handicap accessible facilities for both as well.
Are There Showers? What hours can you use the showers?
Yes there are showers, they are free and they are open:
Friday: 6am-3pm & 6pm-2am
Saturday: 6am-3pm & 6pm-2am
Sunday: 6am-3pm & 6pm-2am

Will there be food booths or a general store in the camping area?
Yes there will be a store (all items are CASH ONLY).

What's up with the BLOODY MARY BAR & BREAKFAST ?

Will there be cocktails available for purchase in Onsite Camping?
Yes. The El Dorado Clubhouse will be serving cocktails. Ask the camp counselors to point you in the right direction. Open Thursday & Friday nights from 6pm - mid. Sat/Sun hours TBA. (hours subject to change)
Will there be a place for me to buy coffee or get hot water?
There will be a coffee vendor in the food area.
Will there be electrical outlets?
There will be cell phone charging stations at center camp in El Dorado 1. The shower trailers will also have electrical outlets.
Where is the closest ATM?
Each campground will have ATM(S).
Can I bring my bicycle?
Yes. Find parking/locking area at your own risk.
Can I bring the family to camp?
All campers must be 18 years of age or older or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Every camper must have a camping wristband. Kids 14 & under are free with legal guardian. Get the wristband on site from camp counselors for 14 & under.
Are generators allowed into the onsite RV camping ?
Generators that are used to power your RV or camper are allowed.
