Sounds like a good festival. Totally wanna check into it next year --- just bad timing for work and another annual trip I take.

I liked Travis Tritt the best - he can really play a guitar. I love Megan L. - I got my picture taken with that hot babe!n Does anybody know where to go to find the photos? They were very disorganized.

Just a quick note for 2010, all General admission will be on the grass next year. So no one is stuck up in the stands... =)

Everytime I see or hear "wagon wheel festival" I think of the song "wagon wheel" by Old Crow Medicine Show.

They're a group of young guys ~ playin' American roots/bluegrass music.
I would love to see them @ Stagecoach or WWF next year!!

I have heard of them, only through running into their videos on youtube! That would be a good fit!!! Quick question... Who would be interested in another Wagon Wheel Festival except somewhere on the central coast like Pismo and actually take place on the beach?? just lookin for some feedback!

The location was great, that's for sure... The show in Pismo Beach would be in addition to the one down south here... just a thought

What about in Long Beach? They used to have something called BEach Fest out on the green by the marina every year and it was fantastic! I think it would be a great venue for a country concert.

Have you thought about booking David Serby and the Sidewinders? They are out of LA and just mainstream enough to fit in a Dwight sort of way.

Additionally, Serby may be the nicest, most affable, hardest working guy in the LA scene and I like to see him catch whatever breaks he can.

Dates will be changed defenitely, it was wayyyy too hot... We are still working on that though. Look for some surprise announcement about some new shows next year and stay tuned for Wagon Wheel 2010... Gonna be a good year for Country! =)

He puts on a great show and his band is great. He usually has guys that played with Dwight and Mike Stinson

I don't have any interest in getting him booked besides helping out another LA musician, but he really is terrific and I think you'd be stoked.
