    Default Camping Pass Vs Spot?

    Im confused!

I went last year, but someone took care of everything.

There are 4 of us going. 4 staying in a tent. Forum.

We need the camping passes (which are the wristbands, correct?) which are $50 a pop, right?

Do we also need to pay for a spot? With the RVs I know there was a seperate fee on top of the camping pass. Is there one for camping? or do we just need our camping pass/wristband.

    STRESSFUL!!!!!!!!! But so worth it!

All you need is the wristbands and that decal they send in the mail with the wristbands.

OOOPSS IGNORE THIS POST UNTIL I CONFIRM...MY BAD!!

I dont think anyone quite answered correctly.

YES you EACH need a "camping wristband" You ALSO must pay separately for a "forum camping" sticker/pass.

So, yes go buy a camping pass. You cant pitch a tent without one.

I thought for sure you needed a forum pass.

But when I read the buy tickets its says that you can also buy those for acess to the other areas.

I think it is strange that forum does not have to pay for their camping spot but Rv's do???

Ok, if I am wrong, I am sorry, but how do you get that window sticker some people have and some dont?

    FORUM
Tent campers - also may purchase these if you need extra "individual" camping passes for other lots.

The Forum lot is for “TENT” campers only! Each camper will have an 8x8 space (aprox. 64 square feet). It is a beautiful serene grassy area perfectly suited for tents. It is located across from the main venue entrance and offers quiet private surroundings. The Forum offers tent campers their own free private parking lot located directly behind grass line. All amenities and tram service included. Yes you can go into any camp area to visit people.
Types of tickets available for FORUM:
Camping Ticket (per person) $50 <--- every person camping needs one of these

they probably don't want other cars parking in the tent parking lot, only tent campers get to park there, hence the parking pass for that lot that comes with forum camping purchases.

I ordered two camping and got two wristbands and one decal for my car to be in the adjacent parking lot. When you pick up your wristbands make SURE you get that decal for the car.

Just the camping pass/wrist band. I just double checked the paper work that came with mine. It says, among other things:

Enclosed in this package is your tent camping car credential. You have a window decal that is to be affixed to your front driver side windshield so security can easily identify you.
The window decal must be displayed at all times and needs to be in place on your windshield upon entrance to the site.

    Also:

Your camping credentials are also included in this package. There is one blue wristband per person per camping ticket you have purchased.
Please have wristbands on before you enter the camping site, and they must be worn throughout the weekend.
Camping wristbands can not be shared or replaced.
If you have children 14 or under their wristbands will be given to you onsite when you check in.

    As well as:

As a tent camper you do have walking access with your credentials to go to all RV campsites and roam around as much as you would like.

Hope this helps clear things up for some folks with questions.
