We are once again leased for both Coachella and Stagecoach as we are every year, to people who want this type of luxury housing.

The rest of you can enjoy the festival in any way you chose and let everyone else do the same. You can sleep in the dirt or you can sleep in luxury...to each his own. Ther's plenty of room for both, except obviously in your little worlds.

why would you want to charge so much in fees..non refundable fees no less..this is a rip off...

Actually, I am in the business of rentals for resorts and hotels, and they actually all do charge extra for this weekend and others.

I do not agree though with the non-refundable cleaning deposit, they should only keep it if someone ruins the carpert, paints on the walls etc., I think that was the only NON refundable fee.

All the other fees are pretty reasonable for that size home, but I think a bit high for the night, but divide that by 10 people, not too bad. You dont need to heat the pool, besides youll be at the concert!

Maybe they have done this rental for Coachella and are expecting the worse people to be in it.???

Actually folks we charge $850 a night base rent for Stagecoach and $1,500 a night base rent for the Coachella Festival with a minimum four night stay.
(I think we mis-quoted it on our first post). The house sleeps 8 -12 people comfortably and 12 is the maximum number of people allowed.

As to why we charge $200 to $300 as a non-refundable cleaning fee, that is what our maid service costs us to clean up a 4 bedroom / 3.5 bath, 3,150 sq ft. house for our next guests, after 8 -12 people have stayed in our home for several days or a week. We don't make any money on these cleaning services and they are also not included in our base rental price for the house; neither is the City of Indio Room Tax fee, or the pool heating fees. (My gas bill in February for heating the pool was over $1,200 and other than when the house is rented, the pool is only heated when I'm here on the vacant weekends.)

This is a private Luxury Desert Resort - Vacation Home that we rent to people who want privacy, luxury, security and lots of ammenties. For us it is a business and we provide it for those that want this Level of Vacation or Event Housing and can afford it.

I'm in realestae and that is highway robbery...
THEY'RE gonna be on the grounds most of the time..
You can rent a house for an entire month for 1800.00

For that price you better be in Madison ,Tradition, or the polo estates..I mean the ones with one acre..
I n this market or any for that matter you can ask what ever you want.It does not mean you will get it.I see tons on the mls with bad Realtors loosing money for there clients because they price way toooo high.Don't tell me you are one of those?????
For Goodness sakes you could get an amazing room and tons of security with no deposit for that..
So many get taken advantage of if they do not know any better...
There are gorgeous houses better then what this sounds for 3,000 to 4,000 a month....
