Default Have an RV Pass, but No RV NOW, just SUV

I bought three VIP tickets for Sat/Sun, RV hookup in El Dorado 1, and three camping wristband. The relationship with the person with RV dissolved, so we do not have an RV. My question is...

Can my friend and I drive her SUV and park in the RV spot and sleep in the car or use a tent? This is a unique scenario and the FAQ didn't explicitly address it all they said was "All RVs, trailers & other such vehicles must be classified as a "vehicle made for sleeping" to enter onsite camping."

I'm trying to sell the tickets on ebay starting at $750. I'm not getting much attention....my friend and I will may end up going if we they don't sell, so we may have one ticket available.

First of all I am sorry about your situation...But i am pretty sure you will be able to sell thet EDI ticket!!

You still need the wristbands no matter what as they are generic for all camping areas. Just sell the EDI RV pass and buy a forum camping pass.

I think they might not let you do the Tent thingy, that is the main reason they have the tent area.

This to me is pretty clear "All RVs, trailers & other such vehicles must be classified as a "vehicle made for sleeping" to enter onsite camping." Your tent is NOT a vehicle.

The rules seem clear but Country Girl said that setting up a tent next to an RV is allowed so I don't know why they wouldn't let someone just set up a tent.

Technicaly true, but why not unload the RV pass, getting your $$ back, and just camp in the tent area?? If they already have a wrist band then they are good to go for the tent area already!
    Holler and swaller!!!!

Tent camping is in the forum.

If someone has an RV in the other areas and room to put tent in their space with them, that is ok too. But buying an RV spot with intent to only tent camp is NOT going to work.
