I'm a native California Girl and I take offense to this song. I eat fried Chicken and I dirty dance to Merle. Not only have I heard of George Jones but I'm going to be seeing him at Stagecoach

I actually hope she does. I like that song, reminds me of a bunch of buckle bunnies, it is just that Cali is know for its "line dancers" and what not. Oh boy, I just opened a can of worms didn't I?

I am from Cali also, from the beach area, but I think she is meaning that song more to the "alternative country" type...nothing personal to the good ole calif country girl.

She will probably play it. She played it last time she was out here, but prefaced it to make sure we all knew that "California Girls" meant Paris Hilton, Britney, and all those other losers.

Looser, white trash Britney Spears = is from Louisana and not California.

Why pick on California girls? we are a good group of people that don't all spray tan and have fake boobs. It's all the transplants from everywhere else who wanna be a "star" that do that stuff and give the rest of us a bad name.

Awe Rose...don't take it so personal. Its all in fun. California is always being used for songs like that. Why do you think we have all these beautiful women out here...money, money money, it CAN buy you happiness...ok, sometimes.

Oh, and Cali has the highest percentage with men AND women for plastic surgery and spray tans, so you gotta see where she is coming from.

When she came to San Diego a few years ago she played CA girls and made sure we knew she meant the Paris Hilton slut-bag wanna-be-CA types, not us REAL California girls, so I am not offended. I love me some Gretchen.

Gretchen will probably do CA Girls, she doesn't do it to offend us Cali girls, and it is a great song. Can't wait to see her. My daughter loves her. GW rocks, I hope her and John Rich(Big & Rich) do Come to Bed together, since they will both be there. Only 25 days...YEE HAAW
