We are waiting to find out. I think I have said this in the numerous other "chairs" threads too.

No chairs? No go.
That's just crazy.
Twelve hours of sitting on the ground? My over 40 body couldn't take it.
I thought it was funny they weren't mentioned in the "Allowed" list.
Glad I found out about this before I bought tickets.
Ive' got to ask this. Will there be chairs in the VIP areas?
I would also like clearification on this I read the rules and didn't read anywhere no chairs????? I does make a difference in a looooong day...also if you have a bad back it is hard to sit on the ground.... looking forward to this would like some clearifications on these few issues...thanks
Thanks for the picture Menikmati, it's worth a thousand words as to the condition of the grounds.
I figure us two olde pharts can get by with a couple beach towles.
Please Post Something "Officially" once "Clarification" Is Made on the Chair/Blancket issue....Thanks

Many of you obviously have not been to music festivals such as Telluride BG festival, Walnut Valley in Winfield, KS; Live Oak in Santa Barbara, Kate Wolf, Strawberry Music Festival, the list goes on and on.... All of these fests have been going on for years and they ALL allow chairs (the low back ones) and have rules that work for everyone (food and beverages are allowed as long as it is not glass, etc). Someone from Stagecoach should visit these other fests. They could learn ALOT from the experts who have been putting on fabulous festivals for 30+ years without problems. Walnut Valley has 4 stages and the festival goes on for 4 days!
Have you checked the news on our website? We got approval for the chairs. We list what types are OK.
We also sent an email informing everyone (who signed up for our email list for updates about the festival).
I also posted it in in 2 or 3 forums on this message board.
Also keep in mind the rules are different for different cities, states, etc. We had to get the OK from the Indio City Police.
I am delighted we will be able to bring chairs. I was recently at a concert in Golden Gate Park where chairs were allowed and anyone on a blanket or in a low beach chair could not see past the people in a regular beach chair. Think about that when you bring your chairs.![]()
why would you want a chair? it's a festival.. there is grass everywhere.. go under the shade a lay down..
Will the chairs in the porta-potties be low back or highback? I need a little extra support when throwing a deuce.
