IF like last year, you can use a BBQ only if gas/propane. Otherwise, sandwiches etc. I cant see why they would not allow them this year since it was allowed last year.

If you have a rig, you probably will have a stove/micro/oven.

There were not technically allowed last year, but people did have them. We did the sandwich thing last year, but I am bringing my baby Q this year for steaks and burgers, when the shows got started, we were inside the venue pretty much till midnight, so we bought food. Breakfast was ceral, lunch was a quick sandwich and dinner was expensive.. but well worth it. Gonna bring a bbq hopefully I will use it.

Actually they were allowed last year, the promotor was on t 106.1 Kpalm while we were driving in and they said they had an announcement. They said that you CAN bring them in, so we pulled over and got some great food to BBQ (ours is always in our rig for camping anyway)

I have posted this before, but even the promotor stopped by to chat with us at dinner while we were BBQn' and drinking. We thanked him for allowing them. Unfortunately many did not hear that announcement as well as some of the employees were not informed.

I am waiting to see if he is going to allow Fire Pits if raised, he was talking to us about that during our dinner...so you never know.

I would bet money that 90% of these rigs carry a BBQ full time. They wont confiscate them even if they dont allow, they just wont let you light it.

But again...it WAS allowed legally last year, straight from the horses mouth.

I say come on into the festival and come to the BBQ cook off and have some awesome BBQ. I know Papa's Smokehouse BBQ (Big Yellow Rig) is going to be there again, last year they won People's Choice Sat and Sun for their Ribs. They are to die for.

THANKS for the information AZ. Chili at the start of the festival may not have been the best idea. Wonder how bad the restrooms are going to fill up?
