Back story: If you watched “Celebrity Apprentice,” you already know this All-American cowboy. Lennox Lewis called him “the fabric of America.” Gene Simmons says he has “a quality that is sorely missing in America today, and that’s called a tug of the heart.” He was booked as a fifth bill act, but is now one of the nation’s most famous country singers.

Sound: Traditional, in every sense of the word. His distinctive baritone comes from a honky tonk and gospel background, and he imbues that with an honesty that has been powerfully reinforced by “Celebrity Apprentice.”
If you like Trace Adkins, you’ll like: Montgomery Gentry, Toby Keith, Ed Bruce
Download: “You’re Gonna Miss This” is the big hit from he did on “Celebrity Apprentice,” but “Rough And Ready” from his “Comin’ On Strong” CD is an fast tempo tune that may surprise you.
I'm looking forward to seeing Trace Adkins at Stagecoach. I really like his music before the Apprentice but now the "man" shines through and he seems just so down to earth and a real good guy.
GPS thank for the local news info! Ladies love country boys!! Trace was the highlight of Celeb Apprentice for sure. Didn't watch a ton of it but saw the finale and he was a crack up... a big ole cowboy trying to deal with the BSB (Back Street Boys)!! LMAO
