Leaving Sunday Night

Unfortunatly my wife and I have to leave from Eldorado 1 on Sunday night.
Question for you folks- Do most leave after the last act or stay until Monday?.We hate to give up one last night of party but work and kids dictate this.

We did not leave until Monday. By 11am on Monday, 90% of everyone was gone, but many were there still in the early am Monday.

I dont recall too many leaving Sunday night. Unless you make sure you can pull out of your spot easily, dont plan on it!!

Work...Kids...what are those?

and we left Sunday night.... started our exit from the concert about 30 min prior to finish - got to our rig just after the last set - and were on the road in about 15 min - no traffic - my feeling was if we were 30 min later - it would have been a long wait to get out.... I had work Mon Morn - so no choice - but leaving Sunday night is easy. Just be ready to roll when it's over.....

We stayed until Monday morning. People next to us pulled out about 330am for the drive to OC and then to work that day. We didn't have to work, but got up around 7am and were on the road by 730 am, no traffic either. I think the brown bottle flu had a lot of people sleeping later....

Yeah, I had the clear bottle flu till 10am! I was waiting for someone to knock down out door, but they were pretty patient letting us pack up slowly and there were still quit a few people after we left still there.

I guess I would not of noticed if anyone pulled out Sunday night anyway!

Im staying until Monday. and wont miss a thing. I did that last year also and took my time getting back to LA. it was great. I loved it.

Thanks all for the replys. This is our first time...we did the same @ Phoenix for Nascar (left after the race) Most fans it seemed were leaving Monday but our neighbors were all very helpful in getting us out...so we will give it a shot.
And what the heck if we don't make it back...well lets just say &^$& em...work is way over rated !

I'm taking 1/2 day off of work on Thursday so I can avoid the traffic and I will be pooped on Sunday night so leaving out Monday afternoon. This festival is worth taking a couple of vacation days.

Same here. We'll roll in Wednesday evening and leave mid-morning Monday. Back to work on Tuesday, but I won't be very productive ;-)

Last year we stayed up all night and left at 5ish, bad idea. Had to stop across the street from morongo and sleep for an hour, then work at 12. Ouch. This year thurs-monday off...
