    Default ED 2- location questions

I have a few questions for those of us camping in ED2. Is the festival entrance a long way from this camping area?, can the stage music by chance be heard in the ED2 campground, in case some people just want to relax and party at the RV site. And if we arrive on Thursday, with ED2 reservations, are the sites first come first served?, meaning can we pick our spot.. or is it the situation where we are directed to the back and then arrivals work their way forward? Thanks for any help...

Most likely they will be directing you- that is what they did last year.

The Music will not be a problem- barely noticeable at the far end of ED1

darn.. we WANTED to be able to hear it in ED 2... not get away from it!! but thanks. I did read a post about them directing the arrivals last year and the early ones got put farthest away...wondering if that's been re-thought.

    http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Indio,...i=map&ct=image

The Camping and event is Madison, 50th, Monroe, and 51st

    ED1- is about 1000'x2000'

You can look at the Google map and compare it to the Stage Coach Camping layout

Its true, we got there first thing and we had to camp the furthest away, and I had a very bad back, and ended up in surgery in July, (not from being far away...duh) but I do hope they re-think that one this year. I am in EDII, and I am very sure you wont hear the music, you hear your neighbors though!

I also believe there will be trams from ED2. Last year the golf carts guys game me a ride on the way to help a girl with a hurt foot. I had blisters the size of quarters after the first day of walking!! Wear comfy shoes.

    No prob Fan...
I was thinking, Well, my Lacers give me blisters ONLY from all that walking, otherwise I can two step till the sun comes up (sorry, I dont line dance). I was bumbed when I couldnt wear them the next day. I ended up in sandles, shorts and my hat. But I was not alone, everyone was that way. But even after all that walking the sandles hurt. So, I guess I am gonna look into some good tennies or where my "lacer tennies" I have. Just be sure they are comfy!!!!!
