I just checked ticketmaster and they aren't allowing 2-day passes to be purchased. What if you don't want the Friday night show? Are you forced to buy anyway?
Personally, I see this as a dissappointment. I like the Eagles, but not for an extra hundred bucks. I know, I don't have to upgrade, but I was going to buy an additional ticket for a friend and now have NO CHOICE but to pay another $100 for the 3 day ticket. Trisha is good, but this is really just the Eagles. GV obviously knows what they are doing, but I'm sure there are a bunch who are not happy. Will be interested if this increases ticket sales or throws it in a tailspin. Now is $300 for the weekend per ticket, for GENERAL ADMISSION no guarantee spots.... that now is a little steep. I dunno
Yikes -- so Friday is not a "full day" like Sat & Sun? Yet reserved seat "upgrade" for Friday is the same as the Sat & Sun per day price? Am I understanding that correctly? $195 for Friday (plus whatever fees tacked on by TM); Sat & Sun were $393 plus about $45 in fees. If TM charges the same fees, then Friday could actually cost MORE than Sat/Sun? For a shorter performance?
Yeah, I know -- I don't HAVE to buy Friday -- just trying to make the decision, and it's not looking like a very good deal... anyone else arriving at different numbers?
Goldenvoice/Stagecoach .... emails went out this afternoon. please check your inbox, your spam folders, etc. dont want to lose that email to the spam folder.
sent to the email address used when tickets were ordered via ticketmaster.
I agree with the Friday "upgrade" price being really steep....it's $195 per ticket for reserved seats (not gold circle)?? Basically you're seeing a concert (opener, middle act and main act) for $195?? It doesn't make sense to me.....especially after getting ALL day Saturday/Sunday for about $195 per day. Maybe because of the Eagles, but we definitely won't be upgrading. I would think that between $100-$125 would have been more reasonable and may get more people to upgrade.
On another note, Countrygurl, the email that I received earlier today from Stagecoach said was a general email about the 3rd day added and it said I would receive a separate email for upgrading.
Also, why is gold circle upgrade the same price as reserved upgrade?? It seems like the reserved (non gold circle) are getting the raw end of the deal.
Just upgraded my tix. I am so happy my husband loves the eagles.
Went to The Eagles site the want $395 for 4Star and $795 for 5Star.
You get a few extras going thrrough them but I didn't.
But I really hope I get my same seats for Friday, no offense to anyone, but since I get to take the chairs home at the end on Sunday I would prefer for them to only have my cooddies.
The separate emails for upgrading are sending now, please look for your email and check your spam folder. sent to same email address you used to order with ticketmaster. It explains stuff.
