Default Still confused on visitors in camping area.

Part of the fun and experience is being able to meet up with friends to enjoy the experience together. Some live close by so they arrive each day. We spend a few hours at camp then go to the venue. Are they going to be excluded from visiting now? Say it isn't so.....

Only six camping wristbands per RV. If your friends that are camping have extra wristbands to give you then you can join them. If not, then no, you can't go in the RV resort area. That's how I read it.

Also not sure how things are going to work regarding wristbands. Read somewhere that buying a camping pass got you 6 wristbands. Does that mean even though I only purchased 2 GA tickets with my RV pass that I will still get 6 wristbands? Or is it only 1 wristband for every Ticket?

Email from Stagecoach says "as part of your RV spot you will automatically receive six camping wristbands for you and your guests.". I'm pretty sure it is six camping wristbands regardless of how many tickets you buy at the time you bought the RV site. If anyone interprets this differently please post.

Score your friends with an "exclusive camping" wristband and at least a GA wristband, then they can visit.

The wristband is a festival ticket and access to the RV Campground. They said you will automatically receive six camping wristbands but I believe they mean that you are allowed to BUY up to six tickets (wristbands) with your RV Space and only those wristbands that you buy with your RV space are going to be allowed into the campground. I think the wristbands for the people who have access to the campground are going to look different than the ones for just the festival and that's how they will know whether to let you in the campground or not.

You get one wristband for each ticket you purchase. During the rv application, the note said if your number of tickets does not match your number of campers, your application will be considered incomplete. So if you bought 2 tickets, you will get 2 camping wristbands.

scubaairpig - you are probably right. Below is the statement on the RV Resort site though the email that they sent out was a bit less clear. In a past year, can't remember which one - maybe 2008 or 2009 they did send out a set number of camping passes for each RV site because festival passes did not have to be purchased in the same order. I just remember having a few extra. Rules change every year as we know. Not really a problem for us but it might have been a strategy for some to buy all six festival passes just to have them for friends, if one could afford it and it was a concern.

LIMIT 6 ADULTS PER RV SPOT
RV SPOTS DO NOT INCLUDE FESTIVAL PASSES
FESTIVAL PASSES MUST BE PURCHASED IN THE SAME ORDER AS THE RV SPOT

Here is the answer from Goldenvoice:

I posted this question on the Stagecoach chat line last night and received the following email reply from Goldenvoice Festivals today:

"Every RV spot gets 6 camping passes. You can distribute."

I also emailed GoldenVoice to make sure that each RV spot automatically came with 6 camping wristbands no matter how many festival passes were purchased at the same time. I asked because we have friends who are going to camp with us but I want them to be able to purchase their own passes. I was told that I was correct.

I got the exact same reply. I bought 4 GA tickets with my RV pass, and now I have 2 more people interested in joining us (and they'll buy their GA tickets separately). Cust. Service said ALL RV passes will get 6 camping wristbands.
