Thread: More Reasonable Solutions to the RV Camping Situation (Stagecoach are you listening?)

Default More Reasonable Solutions to the RV Camping Situation (Stagecoach are you listening?)

I get that the organizer's are trying to eliminate the scalpers and do appreciate that, however, it seems they've gone overboard and are about to kill the wonderfulness that is Stagecoach. It seems a more reasonable solution would be to require that the original buyer of the Camping Pass MUST BE IN THE RV IN ORDER TO ENTER THE CAMPGROUNDS. It shouldn't matter who owns the RV as long as the original person that ordered the ticket is staying in the RV. This should accomplish eliminating the scalpers as, generally speaking, they're just out to make a quick buck and don't attend the festival (lets face it, who's going to pay a jacked up price for an RV spot and then invite the greedy SOB scalper that sold it to them to join them for the weekend?)

As far as some of the other rules (i.e.: limit of six people, no tents, etc.) I don't get that either, we usually have about 8 people in our spot and (as far as I know) it's never been an issue to anyone else. This would be our fourth year, we always take our daughter and her friends that are all in their mid twenties, so now (if we go) we have to disappoint at least two people. I can see putting some sort of limit on it but SIX PEOPLE PER SPOT.......REALLY? How about something along the lines of One RV and One Tent per spot with a max of ten people? I honestly don't see how most of the twenty to thirty year olds are going to make this happen with the new rules. Listen up Stagecoach organizers - they're the up and coming concert fans that you should be thinking of for future sales and, quite honestly, they make the experience so much fun!!!!!!

Stagecoach, pleeeeeease reconsider changing your policy to the following:

Original Purchaser of the RV Pass MUST BE IN THE RV with a valid festival wristband to enter the campgrounds (no restrictions regarding if it's a rental or borrowed)
One RV and One Tent per Campsite with a limit of ten people

    Just my thoughts.....thanks for listening

I was looking at the Country Thunder website (the other festival everyone is now going to) and when you purchase your camping you pick your exact camping space! Now that would be a really easy solution of tracking who is where, plus it would make it easier for families and friends to be able to camp together. Just saying.

Congratulations, wish I could say the same for my husband and I who couldn't even apply because we don't own an RV.... Too bad for us, congratulations to you!! Enjoy for all of us renters!

To the renters: make offers to share the costs of the RVs that people own.
