    Hey Countrygurl,

The problem is "everyone" can't come back because a large majority of them are in their twenties and can't afford the added expense of a hotel / shuttle / purchasing food from restaurants & vendors as well as all the other expenses that are associated with not being able to camp. Our group mainly consists of parents in their fifties with our kids & their friends who are mostly in their twenties (all of them very well behaved and respectful of the other campers). Unfortunately, for the most part, they're all either in college or recent graduates that work hard just to buy the ticket to the event. Up until now they were able to stay with us for nothing and we would give them a spot to sleep and feed them. One of them (a youth pastor) even managed to borrow a motorhome last year and brought his own group of young adults with him. Now, with the new rules, a lot of them are unable to attend because of the added expenses of staying off site :/

My personal feelings are that the person that ORIGINALLY PURCHASED the camping pass should be required to be in the RV and, of course, have a festival ticket. It shouldn't matter if they own the RV, but they should be held accountable for any guests they have staying with them. Also, not everyone's motorhomes are the giant luxurious type with popouts (ours included) and even having six people stuffed in it to sleep can be somewhat crowded, why are there no tents allowed? How about more of a limit of about ten people per site with one or two tents allowed? We've always managed to stay within our boundaries and be respectful of our neighbors with this size group in each of our campsites.

I appreciate that things were getting out of control and something needed to be done to stop the scalping and some of the out of control campers but it seems that the new rules are too extreme. Please reconsider before it's too late as I know we have a lot of very disappointed people in our group that won't be able to attend this year and, from the sounds of it, we're not the only ones.

    THANKS FOR LISTENING.

It WAS GREAT at Kuzn Edys.. still so amazing that so many from all walks of life and interests, and all ages come together at such a party and have a truly enjoyable time with no harm no foul. We enjoyed ourselves with you as well. Good laughs.

I am sure Stagecoach will still provide a wonderful concert.. but without the affordable camping it is like having a great recipe but forgetting to add the salt and pepper, so much of the flavor is lost. I am sure everyone who gets to go will still come back with super memories.

There are several thousand people in their 20s that attend multiple day music festivals with the same types of expenses that don't camp on site at the festivals. I wonder how they do it. They should share their stories here! Then everyone can come back and enjoy. H E DOUBLE TOOTHPICKS YES

I understand them trying to make things safer, but I disagree with giving people who camp, priority over other people in the coming years priority on tickets. Many of the people who camp buy general admission tickets.
So you pay $900 to camp and buy 5 general admission tickets-- that's $1200. I bought 5 P2 tickets and paid
$4000--who should get priority??? If you want to give priority--how about anyone who buys P1 or P2 should get priority???

It is a great festival but I feel I have to respond to this statement...

The point that is being missed here is the money issue, for me and a lot of others!!!

This economy has killed my budget. I'm not the only one in the Southern California area who lost their job, is underemployed, and can't get back to full time work...there are a lot of us.

At the same time that the economy has taken a major dive since this Festival begain in 2007, leading many people to living under reduced circumstances, this festival has, every year, RAISED its ticket prices (+dramatically for VIP) since 2007.

This year, even with the economy still in anemic mode, the owners decide to dramatically raise the costs for RV camping.

I'd love to go this time. No doubt. BUT for the second year in a row, it's out of my underemployed budget. Sorry Countrygurl.

Why is the point not getting through to Goldenvoice---It's the economy!!!

i personally think its a bummer if people can't go... now that its been 6 years and has grown to 3 days long being more expensive.
