    Default I'm Out

Have fun this year gang. After going the past 5 years, I'm not allowed to camp this year, so I will be spending my money elsewhere. Between no tent camping and no RV rentals, it's pretty much impossible for the average person, especially someone living in LA where everything is so expensive, to go camping which is where most of the fun is in my opinion.

I'm not bitter like I'm sure a lot of people will be. I'm grateful for all the fun times I've had at Stagecoach, but I guess it's time for me to move on. Maybe I'll give Country Thunder in Arizona a try in 2014 since they're already sold out for camping in 2013.

I just want to know the real reason they did away with camping and rentals. Someone please tell us fans! We're so sad : ( It's won't be the same without you Adam!

    my group is out too
    with no rental RVs
and the general admission price raised....

I think they are trying to hard to ride on the coat tails of last year's success.. truth is, they are digging themselves into hole
the line up can't compete with last year and i bet a lot of people will opt out this year

Yeah, i'm part of ^^ annie's group. I don't know what Goldenvoice was thinking...I'm not bitter either just really sad that they have allowed greed or whatever take over what used to be an amazing festival. I have a feeling more than a few people will complain directly to them and maybe they will realize they made a huge mistake...

YEP, we are a group of 12 that have gone every year since it started. Not this year. Had an RV reserved to rent because the camping was miserable last year and now find out we cant bring a rental AND they jacked the price up and are limiting the number of people in the RV site. Bummer. Will be saving the money to see the groups individually I guess. Always a country Fan, No longer a Stagecoach fan.

What a weak lineup compared to the ones for the past 3 years. I'm a big price ticket regular customer from the past who also says "So long' ". And that goes for a group of 8. The show just isn't good enough. It's sad.

One caveat....the scalpers will be stuck with tickets they can't resell and if they try to resell Rv spots, it won't work because the pass has to be used by the person who registered.

I was never in. Too expensive for me, with no job for over a year. Last year I was really sad. This year, if you're not going, I won't be as sad.

The camping bombshell has taken everyone's attention away from the fact that GA tickets have doubled in price this year.

Most of us paid around $239 or more last yr so that isn't the biggest concern. Plus $239 is all inclusive; fees, shipping etc.
Stagecoach 2012! I don't think it can get any better!

Yes, the $230 price for tickets is about what it was last year with all the fees. But no camping and no rentals means No to Stagecoach this year! I will spend my money elsewhere!

What a joke! I can't believe how greedy they have gotten over the years. No tent camping, no RV rentals, increased prices, so-so lineup...

I am sorry to hear Jacob, Feiny, and all my PEEPS are sidelined because of the new No Camping and the "Private RV or Die" policies. It sucks. I better sign off, now that I've posted about all that I can without being banned.

Hopefully soon the RV policy will be relaxed to allow non-owners to participate.

    Later everyone.

I'm out too. I'm not bitter, but I am disappointed. It's funny, my boyfriend was just saying last night that he wants to rent an RV this year for SC. Well since that's not possible and with the prices this year, I think our group of 20+ is gonna do Country Thunder instead. We'll miss you Stagecoach!

I agree it is very sad. I am bummed because we JUST sold our big toyhauler because the kids stopped motorcycle racing and I was taking my time deciding what type of trailer to buy. I had a RENTAL lined up from my government base rental, but now that won't work. We only take 4-6 pp usually anyway and we were only taking Curtis and I this year in a rental. I am not so bothered by the price, but now with the rental policy we CAN'T camp now. Who is going to make all the lemon drops, lol? I have been the HUGEST Stagecoach fan, from the very first day this message board came about; even writing the magazine article the 2nd year for my friends magazine raving about it and getting the word out there when they weren't selling out of camping and tickets, more than half the ED1 lot was EMPTY, some of remember those years. I am so disappointed in GV this year. (( we are definitely planning Country Thunder with EVERYONE that we have talked into SC, despite the rising costs. IF camping wasn't already sold out for them for this year we would be going there. SO 2014, we are moving the party up a few weeks and getting a caravan going to Arizona.... YEEHAW..

ANGIE!! CT isn't sold out! They put out more for sale this morning, and they've been offering spaces over the past week to anyone who calls in. Call and ask for Leann. She's helped our group. The customer service there is AMAAAAAZING! Come camp with us!!

I'm bitter as hell. They're ruining what was an amazing experience for country fans. Their new management needs to get fired!
