A few things that may need to be addressed for 2013

It was almost comical if that securioty guard hadn't been such a royal arse! We had I think it was 100 lbs of melting ice and a broken cart. Also a 30 pack of beer with the handle breaking. And they literally wanted us to walk a MILE back around when we had already been to that end and the security guard over there was DIRECTING people to the front of car camping. And then they made car camping (Saturday) an entrance to the venue. I don't get too upset because I EXPECT the security guards to have wrong information at this point. But I AM glad we got the ice in!

Once we got back to Lot 5 I wasn't taking no for an answer and I didn't want to have to face you if I did

I agree with the problem at the gate. How could they have only 2 of the gates with women to frisk? We were all squished into 2 lines then they said go ahead and go in the line with a guy, they were bringing women. Then they said no there werent any women available. It was very unorganized. The problem with no water to be brought in was borderline dangerous. If you didnt bring a few hundred dollars, you were in trouble. Also they need some shade somewhere. Last, why arent the parking lots marked better? I dont like walking all over, sunburned, with blisters on my feet, and beat from the long day, looking for my car. I wasnt alone either. I had a friend in the handicapped parking that would of taken me to my car in Lot 1 (freaking far to walk) but even though I talked to a supervisor, they would not allow it. WTF? It was fun,every year but brutal, and soooo expensive.

I don't think you can blame them for water. I drank beer all day and just bought water in the venue and I don't think I spent more than 15 bucks all weekend, and that was because I forgot about refills.

Agreed! I didn't think $2 was outrageous for water at all. I made sure to drink PLENTY ahead of time, and then just bought a few bottles inside and forgot to drink it because I was drinkin too much beer!

They for sure are the leaders of sending people all over the place. Even if you can see your spot. haha I'm just glad I was able to get Genny's car in when I did. Took a lot of convincing on my part.

The only complaint I had was that I'm pretty sure the car camping was not 10x30. It was like 5 feet short. Luckily we had cool neighbors who shared some of their space with us!

And the people inviting others to pitch a tent on their spot! The spot was big enough for a small car and exactly ONE tent, 4 person at that (small)

and in the vip area, the security staff would hand you ice cold bottles of water (for free) if you looked like you needed it! i spent a lot on water but it was ice cold and worth it compared to having a hangover the next day....

They also need more water stations. I was only able to find two of them on the entrance side of the field. With the grounds being so big, they need to have more, especially with the heat. There should have been refill stations on the far side of the field near the food tents. I don't think it should be that hard to have them outside of every restroom area.

I wonder why they didn't have the stagecoach water bottles this year. Previous years you could buy a bottle for 10.00 and refill it at several places in the venue.
I just realized they didn't have that.
