"Don't waste your time, don't be frivolous with your time. As you get older, I've developed an attitude, spend your money foolishly and your time wisely. It's a lot easier to know what's in the bank than [the time] you have left." Sandy Kofax and I agree!!!
that's why they have portable shower trailers.
i spent 4 days in an rv at coachella and was fine with half a tank of water.
Not sure where you are camping but the dump and water truck comes around several times a day in ED2,
SC 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 AND 2013! -- Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.
Correction the dump truck came around all day long but the water truck skipped around and did not go every aisle every day. We went all the way until Sunday morning with no water and that was after complaining all day Saturday. As far as the portable showers yes those are fine but do not tell people when they buy their RV spot that water trucks will be provided when they clearly were not. We were not the only ones that went without either. We were camped on S. 116th st.
You arrived to Stagecoach with an empty fresh water tank?
We did have the same problems without water trucks. I think they could have had more trucks in ED I, I saw 4 water trucks in ED 2 and it looked like they were keeping up. We rented an RV and had it delivered on site. They forgot to fill up the fresh water tank so we were out all festival long. Got to admit that the showers provided were great, lines were somewhat long but nothing unexpected. We just used water from the refilling station and refilled a 5 gallon jug for cooking and all. Just need to be able and ready to make do with whatever. It's not like they did it on purpose. Great StageCoach this year, now have to wait until next year! Go StageCoach!!
Well, I put a reply about this in the thread about it in the questions forum. It was kind of long, so I'll spare y'all. The showers were great, I even considered taking a pan of dirty dishes and skillet down there to wash, lol.
But I do have a problem with paying 900.00 for the campsite and not being provided with water as advertised. Yeah we delt with it but it was not right. Try taking a three year old to the port a potty at night and getting him to potty in there! Then running all the way to the refill station to wash hands cause there is no sanitizer....
We ended up dealing by putting a bucket of water in the bathroom, and using melted ice. But for the amount of money it just wasn't right.
And we did have water to start with, but our tank is small and we had 6 people. And did not plan on it being unavailable.
