HELP! Shuttle Question

I need some input from people that have used the shuttle in the past. We purchased shuttle passes thinking that it would be nice to be able to take the shuttle back to our hotel for lunch, and then take it back to the festival. It does say that the shuttle runs continuously all day. I emailed them confirming that I would be able to take the shuttle back and forth through out the day. This is what I received back...Please let me know if you guys think this is untrue. Thanks!

That does not make sense. How could they possibly know that we had left, and came back? This is why I am requesting input from past shuttle users. I find it hard to believe that they would be able to enforce that, with the shuttle. I could understand if you drove to the festival.

From what i heard our bracelets for concerts are scanned. Once scanned for the day you are in. only exception is if you have a camping pass which is another wristband

I thought they weren't giving out camping wristbands this year...

that is possible i am not camping and know they did in the past. so re-entry may be possible

From what I heard, the wristbands are the same for camping.

Wristbands are linked to their camping pass in the chip. And you can only go in and out once for reg. GA. each day. Coachella you could go back and forth as much as you wanted, don't know why its different for SC

Both the wristband and shuttle passes have RFID's that are scanned each time you enter/exit. At Coachella, it seemed like some people left & returned on the shuttle - though given the LONG walk between the shuttle area and the Fest & all the dust and waiting, I wouldn't do it. I'd use the lockers to store stuff & take cleaning items.

I know its a little late but I learned that they were letting people in and out, they had to scan the wristband on the way out though so when they re-entered it would scan properly (comp not thinking you were still inside)
