Nope, not true (well maybe at Coachella, they're too stoned to realize they're gettin ripped off. I hear they charged for showers there!). I think it's like $5 a bag at Stagecoach, maybe $1 or $2 more. We make store runs to cut costs though.

Edit o say it was$10 a bag and that my comment about Coachella was facetious.

Hahaha, I have to jab a little. I actually like most of the artists at Coachella, and would go if it wasn't so close to Stagecoach.

maybe they raised prices at coachella because it was so cool that ice was pretty much useless until it barely got into the 80's on sunday. or maybe it was the same as stagecoach, but stupid people talk too much and spread shitty info around.

i still had water bottles half frozen in our cooler that was in our rv all weekend at coachella, put them in there thursday morning when we left for the show. it was a glorious weekend of wind, cold, and a spot of rain. i dubbed it hot cocoa-chella.

correct i paid $10 for 20lb bag of ice. not too bad. we did make a trip to store once and paid almost $5 for a 20lb bag but by the time we made it back to camp half the ice melted so didnt really save money.

ICE!!!!! The best way to fill an Large Ice chest is... One block of Ice on each end of chest the BEER in middle and then fill the rest with regular ice to top. It will last for four to five days!! Keep chest out of sun. You will not buy Ice for $10 or $20 at the event.
