You can pick one up at most stores. Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowes, WalMart.

They are pretty inexpensive - just make sure your getting a wattage that you wont overload. 200W should be fine for charging phones and stuff.
Ok, so what could power something heavier like a blow dryer or maybe even an electric skillet?? from my car? I bought an inverter from Home Depot for $30 (Black & Decker) and it wouldn't work with my mattress pump. Green light goes on and turns to red when I turn on the pump. I don't need it for cell phones since I have a car charger for that and don't need my car on to use it.
No matter what they say I've done, I ain't never had too much fun!

Hahahaha! Oh and I totally agree every man for himself on food. I plan to bring some stuff for the group of course, that's just how I roll, but main meals for sure. Was just thinking if we had an electric skillet (I have one) that our small group can use it for our own food or whatever.

A 200W...probably not. More than likely need a 400W or higher. You would have to look at each item, and figure out what the wattage is - on the grill it should be on the information at the bottom. for the hair dryer...well I have no idea .

just wanted to make sure I am on the count for morongo even though I am meeting with karena at her house. I know I am bringing cards and a lot food but other than that I haven't started packing yet. so who knows what fun stuff I will find to fill my car with for the weekend.

by the way does anyone know how good walkie talkies would work at the campground? I have some friends staying in ED2 and we want to stay in touch but don't want to have to worry about cell phone batteries.

Some one was just saying the same thing.... I think it was MissB?? I think I have a couple walkie talkies so we would just need to designate a SCMB channel and be good to go!

I'm going by costco for my D batteries and am thinking of picking up a couple packs of them. Can't remember how many are in the pack but it seemed like alot. I'll figure out how many I need because everything I'm bringing that needs batteries which is four things needs D's!!! But I'm sure I'll have a couple to share if needed and will gladly do that. I'm making jello shots as well and think I'm going to stick a small ice chest in my car specifically to keep them in there. Going to go to smart and final for the "Red" solo cups so I'm sure we'll have enough to share. I'll have jumper cables in my car in case anyone needs those. Ok stupid question but I don't think I read enough on another thread to have the answer but what is the meet and greet (other than what it states lol) in other words do we bring snacks and things like that? Also, is there anything else like that that goes on that we need to bring things to? Thank goodness there is only one 1st time so next year i will be oh so much better prepared!!! Off to start my shopping!!!!!

When it comes to lists, don't worry about it, I got you! You should see my spreadsheets, seriously. I'm ridiculous. But organized.
