    Default BBQing

I understand that there is no bbqing in any of the campground areas, but how about that parking lots?? Day parking? Companion?

from their website regarding onsite camping, doesn't specifically mention the parking areas but my guess is the powers that be won't allow it if seen. Good Luck

Not a chance they allow open flames in the parking lot. It's a safety/liability issue.

    Thumbs down Re: BBQing

Why are they not allowing gas BBQ this year??? That was one of the best things we do before going in... It seems they are just trying to get us to pay for food...

    I don't think they've ever allowed BBQing

Might be wrong but, I don't think they have ever allowed open flames. Just because you see people doing it doesn't mean it's allowed.

Also correct, at least for the last 4 years. It's a safety code there I believe.

I'm just so used to tailgating in the parking lot for many other concerts I have been to. Wish it wasn't an issue at Stagecoach!

They haven't allowed outdoor cooking of any kind the last 4 years I've been going. Does it happen, yes but you run the risk of them telling you to shut it down and possibly getting it taken away. I've asked in the past and it's the firemarshalls requirement. It's too crowded to get in there with a fire truck if a rig was to catch fire. Then if one catches fire, they burn so fast and can easily light others on fire.

I work at a company that does online training for firefighters and I was talking with a Riverside Firefighter about this. You are very correct. The festival is too not accessable (sorry that was phrased awkwardly)
