Question Gold Circle Tickets for a Group

Posted this question in general confusion thread as well... posting it here in case it was my mistake and put in the wrong place.

How would I purchase Gold Circle tickets for a group of 10, being that the purchase limit is 2? No problem having 5 of us purchase 2 each, but will there be an issue of our seats being separate from each other? We'd obviously like to get 10 together - it's a big girls trip... one is coming from as far as IRELAND for this event. Others from Pennsylvania and Florida. = )

    Thanks!

looks to me like the limit is 2 per person/address/credit card/etc. don't think they do group sales for the event. maybe you can swap seats around with others once you get to the show to get your group all together.

I went last year with my girlfriend and a couple of my friends. My girlfriend and I tried to get Gold Circle tickets but they sold out REALLY fast and we were screwed. My friend and his girlfriend didn't get them either. We did get Reserve VIP tickets, however, and those were great as well.

    Moral of the story:
I think that it is better that people have a fair chance of getting Gold Circle tickets since they are so limited (it is only the first 10 rows). While it would be fun if you and your friends could ALL get Gold Circle tickets, it is really unrealistic. So the Reserved VIP tickets are a great backup. GA is awesome too. You will have fun no matter where you sit! It is really a great time...great atmosphere, great company, and great music!

thanks for the advice. yeah, after looking at the map, i guess gold circle is a little unrealistic for 10 of us. i'm thinking i'll try for pre-sale reserved seating tomorrow morning. still in a pickle with regard to sitting together. totally get the fact that it's a great time no matter what - went last year and had the time of my life. just such a great group of people, music, beer and fun. BUT we did swear we'd go VIP next time. of course there were only 3 of us last year and now i have to figure out how to accomodate 10!

countrygurl never answered me, even just to say "dream on" so that kinda bums me out. i understand if there's nothing that can be done but at least answer so i can work on plan b. good thing YOU guys are here to snap me out of it! ha ha

how many are you all purchasing? going reserved or GA?

Sorry Abra.. 2 ticket limit per person. I didn't chime in because I thought it was answered pretty well.

btw... oohlasvegas, can you comment on the sound in the reserved seating from last year? there's a thread in the Questions board about how loud was it, still good sound quality?, etc. can you find it and comment? would love to hear your thoughts on that as well.

I had no problems with the sound last year.

Unhappy Re: Gold Circle Tickets for a Group

I have been trying since 9:50 am till 11 am to get tickets for the Gold Circle, and just like last year, sold out at 10 am. I don't know what is going on and why it is soo hard!!!!! to get the tickets, did Scalpers gobble them all up. I had to keep looking back last year daily to get tickets, of course they cost and arm and a leg to get them. Did others have the same problem trying to get tickets??? Is there an easier way to get them. This was a GREAT EVENT last year and it fell on my Wife's birthday, and it looks like it is another GREAT event this year. My Wife is begging me to get tickets.

Pretty sure more gold circle tickets will be available with the public sale Friday morning.... but word around the campfire is they're extremely hard to get. And the chance of getting 10 would be nearly impossible. You figure with a 2 ticket limit, you'd have to have 5 people perched at their computer, and have all 5 be lucky enough to get through and make the purchase before they're gone. It's the exact same boat I was in. I feel for ya. You want it so bad, but it's just not feasible. That's why I decide to go with reserved. If you look at the map, and gold circle in relation to reserved, you'll see the odds are in the reserved favor by far. Reserved is available in pre-sale right now (haven't checked what's left lately). Honestly, those tickets are great! You'll have an actual seat, a VIP area, working toilets...you'll be doing better than most!! Good luck!
