    Default Toy Haulers

So this is our first time at Stagecoach and we have an ED 1 camp site. I have a 28 ft fifth wheel toy hauler. I was wondering if any of you that have gone before have been able to set up your rig so you can drop the ramp. My wife loves to be able to sit on the back couch and it would be awesome to be able to utilize the ramp and that area to hang out. Any thoughts and advice is greatly appreciated.
    thanks!!!

I remember lots of them with the ramps down. You will most likely have to unhook the trailer so you can fit in the 50ft spot with the ramp down.
I got laid off when they closed that asbestos factory, and wouldn't you know it, the army cuts my disability pension because they said that the plate in my head wasn't big enough.

So if I want to drop the back I can't cross the line? Do you think if I'm over the line when the ramp is open they will say something? Geezo, so strict.

you just have to be between the lines when you get there and there putting you in a spot after they leave you can move around a little (30 Min or so) the problem you're going to have is the parking is two rows of rigs per row (If that makes sense). So you'll have to pull into your spot then unhook the truck with the front to your trailer at the front of you spot and the rv in front of you will be parked almost all the way up to the front of your rig. this will make you at the mercy of the person in front of you when you want to leave on Monday, as you wont be able to hook the truck up. but that's how I did it last year.

Never mind I just did the math with the overhang you should be less than 50ft and be able to just pull in. during the day the they wont care at all.

That's the config I was kind of thinking. I'm hoping I can get my truck unhitched enough to leave in front of the rig so I have a full 10x50 area of partying in my site but we'll see. I'm hoping I get here nice and early and have time to mess with the configuration a little bit.

Thought you cannot unhook unless you were parking your truck in companion parking?

You can unhook. I have to as the trailer and truck are 65 feet long. I just park the truck in the spot towards the front. I've even been lucky and sent a bunch of girls to the store and they have talked there way back in, not something I would try but I think it hard to tell 5 girls in cowboy hats no...

I like the truck in the center for 2 reasons. one it blocks the foot traffic from going through your camp. 2 because it leaves more space where the row is as that's where most ppl hang out anyways, as we always party at the end of our spot and into the row a bit.

my guess is if you move the truck from the front of the trailer you wont be able to hook back up. 2 years ago the trailer next to me (not in my group) was so close you couldn't walk between because every one is trying to get as much room in there camping area and are on the line.

You can unhook and park your truck in your spot. You just cant unhook and leave the area, or else you cant get back in till monday.

Thats what i did last was just lowered the ramp and setup the couch. I had a 25ft toy hauler with my f150 attached and it fit perfect, but you will probably have to unhook. Also once the parking started to calm down they dont care if you are not in your lines.

I have a 26' pull toy hauler and go from end to end of the camping spot. With the back down I went over the line by a foot or so and was told several times to put the back up because it crossed over the line. After that, I stopped putting the back down. That was in International a few years ago.
