ED I vs. ED II vs. Camping

Hey guys, here is my situation: Last year was my first year at stagecoach and we stayed in the tent camping, which was a blast. We loved the party atmosphere (beer pong, beer bongs, etc), and how chill everyone was.

This year, we decided to step up our game a little and were lucky enough to get an ED II spot because everyone said thats where the party is at. Anyway, we found out four months ago that my wife is pregnant, and now I'm thinking that the power hook-up and closer walk to the venue might be nice for my preggo wife. So I found someone who is willing to trade me an ED I for my ED II.

Now before I make the trade, I wanted your guy's input on the atmosphere in ED I. I know its not as crazy as ED II, but I still want to have a good time. I have friends and family who are coming in from out of state expecting to be able to party like crazy and i don't want to disappoint them. So how would you compare the atmosphere in ED I to tent camping from previous years (as that my only point of reference)?

it's a party everywhere... ED I has the nicer rv's... it's more mid30's and up... if you want the shorter walk go for ed I... you will still have fun... however i am always ED II !!!

I like the idea of the shorter walk and the ability to run my air conditioner non stop, but I'm not willing to give up the drinking and good times for it. This is a rough decision.

I thought this thread was going to be some sort of challenge or BeerOlympics because of the title.

WBRedneck... Your following my footsteps almost excactly! Our first year, my wife was just a few months pregnant (still getting sick and had spiderwoman senses). She made the decision very easy for me ... No AC = No stagecoach, so we bought ED1. Concerned of the same thing we prepaired to go to EDII at night. Well, the second day our neighbors set up a band on the rooftop of their RV, and we partied all night long. The next year, we had just as much fun and made some great friends with our great neighbors! If you have loud music, at some point after 2am someone will come by and tell you to turn it off or lower the volume. But music is the only thing they regulate. Drinking, Laughing, talking, and having fun is never stopped.

From my experience and comparison of the two areas... Joey is right on... ED1 is a little older crowd (especially the 50amp section, those are the big dogs on the block). I think ED1 will be a little more party atmosphere now because of the EDII overflow people who couldnt get tickets. I cant really speak for EDII cuz ive spent little time over there. Just went a couple times at night and the differences I noticed was it was lots of large gatherings of "parties" with music and people talking over each other. (and tons of generators running) Im a little spoiled now on ED1 and prefer it over any other spot.

Well Kuzn Edy I think you just made my decision way easier. Looking at the time you put into your custom set-ups, I can tell you like to have a good time. And if ED I is good enough for you, then its good enough for me.

I will chime in a little to say that late night in EDI is really quiet and not many people out partying. BUt that's ok, cuz all ya gotta do is walk over to EDII if you still wanna party, and you'll find plenty goin on!

We still party just as hard in ED 1 So dont worry about that, and We have never been shut down so don't worry about that either. And everyone knows the best time had during stagecoach is in ED 1 anyway! Hahaha ED 1 represent!
