the festival passes are not linked to the rv passes.

He's right, they shouldn't be linked. Only when it came to purchasing the RV pass did you have to buy with a festival ticket.
No matter what they say I've done, I ain't never had too much fun!

I also emailed Stagecoach to find out if we could switch camping passes. I got a reply that only said yes it was OK and no mention of switching wristbands as well. I found a woman to switch with & she called FrontGate who told her we needed to also switch a wristband. I called FrontGate and verified this. The rep I spoke with told me that you should also switch a wristband as the wristbands and camping passes have RFIDs that will be scanned on entry. The RFID is connected for wristbands and camping passes that were placed in the same order, no name information is stored - but order information is stored. When both are scanned upon entry the RFID in the camping pass must match the driver's RFID in the wristband. I asked what would happen if we did not switch wristbands and was told that you could possibly be denied entry. I sent another email inquiry to stagecoach to see what they have to say about this. I will let you all know if I do get a reply.

888.512.SHOW - is the number for FrontGate if anyone else wants to call in & check for themselves. Be prepared to hold though - I waited 30 min for a rep & the woman I traded with waited 20 min when she called.

I bought 2 wristbands, a companion pass and an ED 1 spot - will both wristbands then be connected to the ED 1 spot? My sister is arriving separately in with the companion pass... (everything was purchased in together)

Gah. It's not gonna be linked together. What if you bought 5 GA pass and one rv pass? Which would be linked? Common sense says its fine.

thats exactly what i was thinking cuz i bought 2 tickets with rv pass. just wanted to make sure. can you imagine how many people will be PISSED if they were linked and they bought a camping spot from someone else. but i do agree with you common sense would be they are not linked. but who knows with front gates.

I contacted Frongate and they confirmed you must have a wristband that was purchased on the same order as the RV pass in order to get into the camping area.

Here is my email to Frontgate and the response I received:

Greg, Apr 13 09:38 am (CDT):
    Hi Linda,

Thanks for contacting Front Gate Tickets!

Unfortunately this is true. These are the rules enforced by the festival.

    Thanks,
    Greg

Linda Osborn, Apr 12 08:43 pm (CDT):
I purchased my RV pass from my girlfriend who isn't going after all, I already had 3 wristbands. I saw on the Stagecoach Forum someone posted that if you buy a RV Pass from someone else that you must also have a wristband from the same order because the wristband and RV pass have same RFID on them. Is this true? What if she already sold all her wristbands to someone else? Can we still get into ED 1.
    I need to know asap!!!!
