Hello. I didn't attend last year, so I am a little confused!! On the camping site is shows you have to pay for an RV spot and a camping ticket (per person). Is this on top of purchasing, say, a Gold or Reserved ticket?
Thanks!!
yes. camping tickets are separate from festival tickets.
I heard last year they let you save a spot for a friends RV only if you gave the first RV that entered the campground your camping ticket. The first RV would then check you in and reserve a spot next to them. The website says you cannot save spots, but last year it said the same thing and people were doing it.
Can you check in for somebody who is physically not there or do you need an actual (physical) RV to check in?
Also what time do the tickets go on sale on 11/16/07?
10am is when tickets go on sale.
And this is what it says on the onsite camping page:
Can we/How can we camp next to each other if we are not arriving together?
We're sorry but there are no saving spots for friends. You should travel together and arrive together to be placed near each other.
Thanks..... i will make sure I will be online at 10am! I have a feeling they will sell out on the RV hookup spots quickly!
I am thinking of buying a rv parking pass and it will be my husband and I, do I have to then buy 2 camping tickets on top of the rv parking or does the rv include 1 camper, meaning I would only have to purchase 1 extra camping pass?![]()
each person camping needs a camping pass.
Are the electrical hookups the standard kind all campgrounds have? Also, are the hookups an additionall charge (150 plus the 100 RV fee for a total of 250) or is there just one fee for the space + hookups = 150? The camping page is not clear on this.
can you guys help me word it better?
Camping Ticket (per person) $50 <--- every person camping needs one of these
+
Per RV (1 steering wheel) $100 <--- you need one of these for the RV
+
30 amp Electrical Hook Up $150 <--- you need this if you want electrical hook up too
Here is a good way to word it:
Camping Ticket (mandatory per person over 14 years) $50
Per RV (1 steering wheel, no electrical hookups) $100
Per RV (1 steering wheel, with electrical hookups) $250

electrical is it's own item that cost $150..
so how about
Camping Ticket (mandatory per person over 14 years) $50
Per RV (1 steering wheel, no electrical hookups) $100
electrical hookup $150
??
thanks for the help.. trying to see if I can get it re-worded.![]()
Maybe it is just me, but that is still confusing to me
"electrical hookup $150" could either mean:
1 - the space plus electrical hookups
2 - just the hookup itself.
I know it is #2, but before this discussion I thought it was #1
yes thank you for showing that.
now it says this:
Camping Ticket (mandatory per person over age 14) $50 <--- every person camping needs one of these
Per RV (1 steering wheel) $100 <--- you ALSO need one of these for the RV
30 amp Electrical Hook Up $150 <--- this is an additional cost if you would like electrical hookups
Yay! Now I can get them at the presale tomorrow!
OK, with so many camping spaces available.....should we get out tix early, or will there be plenty at the time of the fest? Either RV or tents only.
I wouldnt suggest waiting too long.
I'm getting my RV tickets at the presale and waiting on the festival tickets.
