I usually load up before leaving, because everything's so packed in my car there's no way to get an ice chest out without causing an avalanche. We COULD stop, but that's a LOT of cars to stop so whatever everyone thinks! Actually...what's in the lot there at Morongo? A burger place and is there a gas station too??

I was actually just looking at the same thing. I am going to try and find a Costco near Morongo that sells ice and is open by 10am so I can load up then, otherwise I waste ice in the ice chest sitting for a day in my apartment.

Why don't you get ice the morning of, before you leave, at a grocery store? That's what I plan to do anyhow

Well its somewhat related to the water thing I suppose. Remember how I splurged on the water? I think Ill need like 40+ lbs of ice and I can get that at Costco for 5 bucks. At the grocery store it'll be like 25 bucks. The only problem is that Costcos don't open till about 10am

YEah, they don't open until 10, and you don't wanna be late! Try Smart & Final. Their 20lb bags are around $3, so you'll pay a buck more for 40lbs, but you'll be there on time :-)

I think this is prob going to be a stupid question but anyone is welcome to join the caravan to Stagecoach right? I would love to if I can get there by that time. Have to check with the person riding with me. I think that would be a great start to this awesome weekend? Also what is the spreed sheet. It's our first year car camping. Sounds fun!

Definitely! We started it so that we could all be by one another in the car camping spaces, but now have some RV spot people joining the caravan. The more the merrier!

The Information Spreadsheet is a sheet I put together based upon everybody's information about where everyone is camping, how to identify them, phone numbers, etc, so we can all get in touch with the people we wanna see over the weekend. See the first post in this thread for more info and for the format to fill it out if you wanna join!
