    Default People under 21

I have probably read the entire Stagecoach website 20 times, but haven't been able to find a clear answer on this.

I am camping in Eldorado 1 with a group of 13 girls.
6 of them are coming separately (companion parking) and one girl is not 21 - will the group still be able to bring their allotted amount of alcohol? (the website says that the venue staff has the right to confiscate alcohol from people under 21)
I just want to make sure they don't waste their money trying to bring it.

    thanks!

    EVENT INFO ALCOHOL POLICY

Anyone under the age of 21 caught with alcohol or under the influence of alcohol will be ejected from the festival and turned over to the custody of Indio PD. No refund will be given.

    CAMPGROUND (RV/CAR CAMPING) POLICY:

Each person over the age of 21 may enter the campground with 2 total of the following items (not 2 of each item):

    • Case of beer-Cans only
    • Alcohol in plastic bottle
    • Boxed wine
    NO Kegs
NO Glass (including beer/wine/hard alcohol bottles)

If anyone in the vehicle is under the age of 21, organizers reserve the right to deny entry of the vehicle and/or confiscate alcohol.

yes yes, this is what I read - she isn't bringing any alcohol in and obviously won't be drinking there, wanted to know what would happen if she came with the other people tho.
I like the advice to have her walk in separately tho

Why dont you just have the people over 21 bring the alcohol and your friend walk in. Problem solved, right? Am I missing something?

Getting inside the venue/campgrounds is less than half your battle. If she decides to be drinking, having her around is a huge liability for your whole group and herself. Minor in possetion, contributing to the deliquency of minors, etc... are all bad tickets to get and then they might kick you out or take all your booze. Dont get me wrong, i want you all to have fun, but if she is holding a beer and looks too young and a police role by (yes, real indio police and not all on horseback!) the tickets will start flying. Do yourself a favor and make her your groups "special project" to either keep away from the booze or be EXTREEMLY carefull with her drinking it. (dont get too wasted, and dont EVER carry around a beer/drink)

Not trying to be a buzz kill, but your whole trip could be ruined the first day/night if she gets caught and then we will read your sob storry (with many others) on hear may 1st. Good luck!

My friends and I went last year and didn't have any problems. We were all underage and I was the only one with a fake i.d. so I was the one lugging all the booze in. I feel like as long as you aren't falling on the floor drunk or being an asshole, starting fights and what not, cops tend to look the other way. Luckily this year almost our entire group is 21+ let the booze flowww!

Fake IDs? Underage drinking? I'm with Kuzn Edy, hardly seems worth the risk. Just glad this is not my problem. I'm too much of a rule follower haha.

Bo-riiiiiing...haha, I was one of those who had a fake ID since I was 18 back in the day. Now if it were MY son wanting to go drink for a weekend....well my opinion would be MUCH different! And I don't condone underage drinking now, but I did date a guy who was 20 some years ago at Stagecoach, and not one single person in my group thought it was bad he was drinking all weekend.

Haha it's only a bad idea if you get caught. That's how my luck goes but luckily it's a non-issue as I'm over 21 and all those coming with are, too.

The place is so packed this year, seems if your even somewhat of a regular fun loving Stagecoacher you should be fine. They will probably have their handsfull of rowdys to worry about.
