I am super concerned after reading all the information that came with the wrist band. You have to put it on well before you arrive at SC. The minute I hit the heat and walk up to the entrance I turn red and swell up pretty bad (heat stroke many moons ago) It states that there is a $25.00 re-adjustment fee. The band will be too loose in the mornings/evenings and way to tight during the day. Can I get the band re-adjusted at the First aid/Medical tent for free?

Trust me, I don't wish this condition on anyone and it gets worse the older I get.

Got my band in the mail today. It's a cloth type band (like a lanyard necklace) but softer. I don't think swelling and such will be an issue. They're not plastic

It bothers me too. I can understand a sticker for the vehicles to track for traffic control, and wristbands scanned for festival entry, but being radio frequency tracked whether I am in the concert, porta potty, rv or Kuzn Edy's Taco party seems a bit Orwellian to me.

I got my passes yesterday and I actually started to panic thinking what if I put it on too tight or just incorrectly after reading the directions! lol

Hahaha oh I'm sure they'll go on just fine. And if a lot of people have issues with them, we'l demand a refund (or the 25 $ fee dropped). They look comfy and secure. I'm actually happy they're not flimsy this year!

thats not the way that this type of RFID works. Its similar to the stickers they put on merchandise in the store. Once you walk through the "choke point" with an active tag it sets off the sensors. only when you walk through that point can you tell what # the tag is. With that said, entering the festival there shouldn't be staff with laser scanners taking tickets. Simply a walk through point.

Wonder what will happen when someone walks in with the wristband on their left wrist...

are you just going from thread to thread to invent questions to ask for no reason or do you not have a right arm and are seriously concerned about that?

Of course, since you need to have the wristband on before you even enter the venue, everyone should be sober and have their wits about them!

Last year we pulled into town around 2pm on Thursday expecting them to open the gates early like every year previous. We wound up parked behind Ralph's Supermarket on Jefferson and 50th for 4 hours with about 100 other motorhome/trailers and I don't think anyone was very sober!!
