I got laid off when they closed that asbestos factory, and wouldn't you know it, the army cuts my disability pension because they said that the plate in my head wasn't big enough.

There used to be a little ceasers down the street in indio. Not the best pizza but CHEAP and FAST! We made an ice/beer/pizza run one day in 2010 and were back to our spot in less than 45min.

if its electrical and you are running from like a car inverter, i would think your fine. They just dont want open flame - as it is a liability.

What? the pong table lights up? thats awesome! but really, the food thing is basically cereal, sandwiches and I always bring a pizza to have in the cooler for when I want something heavier than a sandwich. granola bars are good, just don't let em melt.!

Ya. gotta create a list for just snacks and food. But fried chicken is definitely going on that list! haha.

We are making beef and chicken tacos beforehand.. and then just either A-eating them cold or B-making friends with someone with a microwave.. and then chicken salad premade, lunch meat, cutting up fruit and putting it in ziploc baggies..
..I'm hell on heels baby I'm coming for you ..

@AmandaB- if you are near ED2 you can use our microve. The only reason being is that I am from Ontario as well however I have moved since down to San Diego but Ontario is still where my roots are at!!

this is my first time and im car camping, definetly putting into consideration of saving $$ and bringing easy meals, what do you guys think of dry ice in the bottom of my cooler with some insulation in between it and my food?

Hmm, i'm thinking I'll go the granola bar and snacks route for most of each day. Then treat myself to a bbq meal a day to get my protein. I think nuts, dried fruit snacks, pretzels... and lots and lots of water and beer should do it.
Daddy cried when he saw my tatoo,
    Said he loves me anyway.
My brother got the brains of the family,
So I thought I'd learn to sing.

I have a 100 something inverter and a 4 cup coffee pot to make hot water for instant coffee in the morning. The guy at Bestbuy said it would be ok for my battery. I'll have extra coffee if anyone brings their own cup.

Yeah, I think I'll have to get my hands on those bacon wrapped meatballs at least a couple times over the weekend but I did also stock up on trailmix, sunflower seeds, Mojo bars, Cliff bars, and Builders Bars! Figure I'll be drinking most of my calories...
