Unfortunetly, the plexglass on top warped in the heat. It held up great - except for the plexi. gonna have to figure something out. haha.

my misters worked perfectly on friday!

but when i went to turn them on for saturday it seems all the tips were clogged! i tried every thing to clean them out but nothing worked!

i need to pack some CLR next time...

did any one else have this problem? and if so what was ur solution?

Yup, I had a bit of an issue as well. They worked perfectly on Thursday but every day after, we had issues. I was thinking it was because we used water from the coolers and such and something must of clogged the little holes.
    Hmmmmmm wonder what it was?

You can unscrew the tips and soak them in vinegar overnight. Worked fine for me on night two. (day three worked better than day one) Also pump a good amount of clean water through your system when the tips are off to clear the line. Wouldnt hurt to put a cup of vinegar in the water before your flush the system. (I didnt do that, but will next time)

CLR would work much faster, and is a good thing to have in your RV supply. Just dont soak your O-rings in CLR.

The issue is the hard water calcifies in the little holes and it gets even worse with dirty water and the heat. My mister kit came with a fine strainer, but I had to bypass it for the connection to the pump. (as im sure you all did)
I got laid off when they closed that asbestos factory, and wouldn't you know it, the army cuts my disability pension because they said that the plate in my head wasn't big enough.

Thank for the tip. I will take note for next year as I don't think I'll be using them until then.

Initially Chev was giving me crap for using bottled water in the misters... now you see why! Mine worked fine!
