There does need to be a rule that KUZN EDY gets first go at whatever is brought. Hell, with all the people coming, he is going to have to kill a cow to have enough meat.

Yes indeed! I will have one jello shot of every color, one cupcake of every kind, a slice of birthday cake, some rice krispy treats, guacamole of two kinds, pig candy, cobler, beans, rice, margaritas and oh yeah... my tacos!

@SPKemo-Yeah buddy the drinking shoes will be on. I have been working so much as of late and we have a 12 hour rule enforced by the FAA prior to working and controlling airplanes so I am ready to let loose.

Miss B.... I guess people can start bringing condements. I was going to supply all the sour cream, cheese, salsa, onions and cilantro. But since people are willing... How about you bring a tuperware full of chopped onion. Next person who asks can bring cilantro. Then grated cheese and sour cream.

Anyone who brings these things must commit to coming ON TIME!!! Thats 6pm sharp. I am very punctual and would get a little grouchy if you commited and didnt show. (thats why Im a little uncomfortable with releasing my control of the primary stuff) and yes i know i am a control freak, its in my nature, i cant help it!

You also have to tell me by saturday morning because i am going to costco and the grocery store that afternoon. (I wonder how much costco is making off everyone from stagecoach this weekend alone?)

You are just like me, have trust issues when it comes to pp bringing anything for the main food event item... lol i always say oh no just bring dessert, or chips.... I agree, condiment pp must be on time or early... But i think we got a great group here and we can trust them all to be there... You can always have a back up stock, in case you need to use it and then just add the other stuff to your stock for the rest of the weekend....

I'm a total control freak too (surprise!) and I know exactly how you feel about relinquishing control of the important stuff. My goal this year was to not worry about any of that stuff anymore and if it's a disaster, just to go with it. I'm about 15% of the way there, which is BIG for me!

I say skip the guacomole and make the Carnitas! The guacomole you will have to make that day or it will taste funny. The carnitas you can make tonight and freeze. And yes... I have about 6 different ways to heat i up... (Stovetop, oven, microwave, crockpot, warming tray, grilll, and a giant magnifying glass)

And who cares if you have enough... I only want one or two tacos of it! Oh yeah SMKempo too!

I'll do both. The guacamole I can do in larger batches in my Vitamix (yes, I have one, it's amazing). And for some reason when I make it in that thing, it stays fresh longer than 24 hours. It didn't turn brown at all when I made it a few weeks ago and I didn't even leave a pit in the container. No idea why. Even the salsa I make in that thing (instead of spending hours chopping) tastes better.

If you wanna use my Vitamix for anything on Tuesday night, you are MORE than welcome to! Seriously, it takes hours off of chopping! I use it for all of my garlic too, just add a little water if there's only a clove or 2, and then strain it and viola!

Thanks everyone for stepping up!!! I added a column for the condement people so i can reference it quickly. I think I might just print this out and hang it above the buffet table so people can see who brought what (or didnt bring what!)

And yes... I will be using the carnitas as a condement to my tacos!
