So this will be my first year attending Stagecoach and I am so excited!! So I was wondering, to those veterans out there- is it best to try and get there Thursday night or early Friday morning? If I were to get there Friday around lunchtime, would I be missing out on much? How is traffic during both these days? Thanks!

I suggest you get there as early as you can (thursday). Lots of fun to be had the first night and then friday you have the whole day out there.
I got laid off when they closed that asbestos factory, and wouldn't you know it, the army cuts my disability pension because they said that the plate in my head wasn't big enough.

If you're camping then Thursday as early as possible. (Check the hours) Thursday night should be pretty fun! No music so people will be drinking their asses off.

For camping, I think the earlier the better. I will be at the gate by 8:00 am Thursday morning. Lots of time to set up, get things situated and then let the party begin!

Well by the time I got my tickets all the camping was sold out
so I'm camping at Shadow Hills RV Resort instead! That's a good point though, that Thursday night there's no concert so the camp grounds will be pretty fun. However, am I allowed to go into El Dorado if I'm not camping there? I have a buddy who won camping there from the local radion station (lucky bastard!)

Our group is actually going out Wed night. We are gonna stay the night in town so we don't have to deal with all the freeway traffic coming in on Thursday morning and we can wake up (if we actually go to sleep) and drive right up the street to the gates at 8am! Originally Posted by gaypalmsprings

We're heading out Wednesday night as well. There's a Walmart a couple miles away rv's can park at overnight. I know the gates open at 8 am but how early do you think people will start lining up to get in? I saw that SC doesn't want people there before the gates open but I doubt that people will actually listen. I want to get a spot nice and close to the stage in ED 1.
