Thread: Gold Circle suggestions

    Default Gold Circle suggestions

The gold circle tickets were well worth the money. The food was absolutely OUTSTANDING and the caterers did a fantastic job.

Next year I would suggest more security for the gold circle area as people kept coming up there. There should have been one of those short fences around that area to help keep order. Security was constantly checking people and removing them just to have more show up. Another thing is there should have been special parking and bathrooms for those people that paid the highest prices for their tickets.

It was an AWESOME concert and I'm looking forward to next year.

    GREAT JOB PROMOTERS!!!!!!!!!

Other than two minor complaints that I had mentioned in another thread (increased security and more bathrooms) the Gold Circle Tickets were well worth the money.

The food was awesome and the shaded area was posh looking with plenty of space to relax. A few more tables probably would have been good too, as I saw some people trying to eat their steaks on the grass with no blankets to sit on. The bartenders were on the ball and changed out kegs faster than anyone I've ever seen. The wait in line was never longer than a few minutes and ice cold water was always readily available.

I would gladly purchase Gold Circle Tickets again next year, only not in sections 3 or 4 unless they can guarantee that security would be tightened up. Thanks for a great time

Gold Circle was so worth it. The food was fresh and delicious. I too agree that maybe a couple more tables would have been nice. One more thing...I had row three and noticed lots of people without Gold Circle laminants....don't know how they got in, but a lil tighter security would be appreciated. I look foward to the next one and hope the prices don't increase.

How much were Gold Circle tickets? This in unfamiliar to me for a general admission festival. They don't have this for Coachella.

Is it the same as the VIP section in Coachella, which isn't all that close to the stage?

it was to the right of the vip, where catering is for artists and workers at coachella. basically to the left of the stage if you are facing it. vip was still vip.

Yes we got to keep our chairs, an awesome plus I think. I agree, there definately needs to be a better way to secure the Gold Circle seating. All they would have to do is put one of those short fences up with only a few entrances. I think there should have been bathrooms just for the gold circle people too. Well worth the price of the Gold Circle tickets in my opinion.

Just out of curiosity, how did you manage to purchase your gold circle tickets? I was on-line, logged in and clicked the buy button exactly at 10:00 AM and it said there were no tickets available. At least I was able to get VIP seating, but would have preferred the gold circle tickets.

I ended up purchasing my Gold Circle tickets through a ticket broker and paid more for the seats I had, but it was well worth it. A few people on this message board were able to purchase pre-sale tickets through fan clubs that they belonged to.

A woman who was sitting near me at the concert said that when she went to buy Gold Circle tickets through ticketmaster when they went on sale, it wouldn't let her purchase all 4 of her tickets at one time. She ended up purchasing 4 Gold Circle tickets separately, making everyone in her party seated in different sections.

Next year, I will definetely try to purchase Gold Circle tickets again, but hopefully not through a broker

I just got lucky I guess, which doesn't happen for me often. Maybe because I only needed one ticket instead of the usual even number most people buy.

I bought mine thru Kenny Chesney's fanclub. I too got lucky. I started keying at 10 am and kept throwing back all VIP's for about 17 minutes. My Gold Circle tix popped up right at 10:18 am. Gold Circle is worth every penny! I was center three rows back. I managed to get guitar pick's from Pat Green, Alan Jackson, and George Strait (turtois, gold embossed with his name on one side and "Hall of Fame" on the other side.....to top it off! I got my hat signed by Jason Micheal Carrol and the man himself..."Kenny Chesney" I had the time of my life and met lot's of cool people! Can't wait til next year.

I agree, the Gold Circle was well worth the money. Great food and it was nice to be able retreat to the private Gold Circle area to escape the masses and relax between sets. Parking for Gold Circle would have been a nice touch. Also security was totally overwhelmed trying to keep "non" Gold people out of the front section (first 10 rows). They no doubt need to correct that situation for the next festival. And Gold circle restrooms would have been appreciated. I ended up walking to the two farthest stages where there was little to no waiting in line. All in all, this festival was run very well. I will definetly be returning next year. And will be going Gold if possible.

First let me start by saying just how well put together this festival was. I have been to my far share of concerts/festivals and I have to say I was impressed! Gold Circle was great and well worth the money...I can't wait for next year!!!

That said I would have to agree with everyone else that there are a handful of improvements that could occur for next year...more security or a fence around gold circle seats is a must, the crashers got a annoying after awhile. It would also be nice if there was a direct route from the gold circle tent to and from the stage area, only having one exit out on that side with the rest of VIP made it very difficult to pop over to the gold circle tent between acts. Having a dedicated gold circle bathroom and actually having a view of the stage from the tent would also be a plus, but truly you all did an excellent job regardless!!

And the food....it was fantastic!! The variety was great, the staff was so nice, and I'm not sure you could top having chocolate fountain for dessert

Thanks to everyone for an amazing weekend!!!

I agree with everything you said, this was an awesome experience! It would have been nice to have that straight path to the Gold VIP tent and bathrooms. You could go out near the side of the stage, but you couldn't come back that same way. It made it tough trying to find your way back when it was so dark and crowded.

I had an end seat and was squished for the last few acts. Was surprised at how many people crowded around. More security would help.

I also agree with the reference to a VIP parking, closer to the entrance...although, all that walking back to my car was not such a bad thing after eating all that great food in the Gold tent for two days. lol

    Overall, great experience!
