nah, not really a fan. went to the first couple stagecoach's and had a good time, just not my cup o' tea musically. well the newer stuff, at least. like a lot of the older, dirtier, outlaw country stuff.

back in the mid to late 90's i worked for the guy who runs the fest. once stagecoach came into being i signed up to try and help out a bit with answering questions and what not around here and stuck around cuz i still dig interacting with ya'll.

sometimes i even miss kymisery, er kymery, haha. so much drama.

I agree with you Cooter. Country wasn't for me. Work and life kept me busy, traveling, arranging, entertaining, ( had no moss on my heels) The music didn't suit my mood or lifestyle. Then I got injured, had to go to my daughter's in Texas to mend. A night out there was friends of all ages grabbing guitars and a case of beer, sitting around bonfires at the lake . All the bars played country and I was surprised and impressed to see almost every guy in the place actually DANCED. There was no other music around other than Country., so there was no choice. I fell in love with the open laughter and the easy way life sat on the shoulder of these fans of Country. And I was converted. The music is gentler on my soul now than ...say the artists at Coachella.. so many bands that I do not recognize.. I guess a real sign that I am getting older

I got laid off when they closed that asbestos factory, and wouldn't you know it, the army cuts my disability pension because they said that the plate in my head wasn't big enough.
