It was an amazing show!!!!!!!
i sat in the Floor Section A, row 21. We had to turn to the right if we wanted to see any of the stage action, but even so i'd say we were pretty close. I got there in time to see Jake Owen and Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, my friend got there just in time for Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney (i was coming from Mission Viejo, my friend was driving down from Los Angeles.....which she said is usually a 30 minute drive but that day traffic was so bad for her that it took her TWO HOURS!!)
i love Jake Owen and this was the 3rd time i've seen him live so i knew his set was not to be missed. I really hadn't heard of Grace Potter and the Nocturnals except for Grace singing on Kenny's "You and Tequila". She really wasn't bad.
my friend and i were SO EXCITED to see Tim McGraw!!!! this was a first time Tim McGraw concert for the both of us and something i had been looking forward to for YEARS because i've been a McGraw fan for awhile now. Honestly can't even remember what Tim sang because, well, i'm a girl and was too busy ogling Tim onstage, i admit it

but he did put on an amazing show and i loved "Southern Voice", "Live like you were Dying", "Last Dollar (Fly Away)", "All I Want" and "Indian Outlaw"!!!
Kenny is always good.....but i've seen him live 3 times before this and out of those 3 times, the only time he s.ucked live was at Stagecoach whatever-year-that-was.....when he performed after Kid Rock. And i know that there were outside circumstances that year, like, i believe he was sick and it just was not good planning to put him onstage after Kid Rock cause Kid's a more high energy show and Kenny, while good, is a bit more laid back style. PLUS Kenny was closing Stagecoach so everyone was kinda burnt out after being out there all weekend. So IDK..........i LIKED Kenny's show and i'd definitely go to one again, but i kinda wasn't feeling it last night (and that might also be because i was and still am trying to fight off a cold). And i also think it might've been because i knew what to expect from Kenny's show, having seen him 3 times before, so there was no "surprise element"......i didn't know what to expect from Tim's show, so i was a little more excited to see Tim......
i will put pictures up throughout the week so you all can see!!
Oh and btw, did anyone happen to get a picture of Ashton Kutcher up there onstage with Kenny? if so, i'd like to see it! my camera battery died at that point in the night......
EDIT: for the finale, they did "Feel like a Rockstar", "She Thinks my Tractor's Sexy" and "Indian Outlaw"!!
