She is such a talented writer too. As much as I love the underdog, if she keeps producing work like she's doing, I'll always think she worked hard enough for the win.
Daddy cried when he saw my tatoo,
    Said he loves me anyway.
My brother got the brains of the family,
So I thought I'd learn to sing.

I would really like to see if Taylor Swift can evolve into something more then just churning out songs about boys and girls.

Love songs are great but most of her songs lack substance. Her songs are made for high school girls it seems. It's time to start singing about big girl stuff. I really hope her next album is a bit more grown up. And being that I will have to listen to it non-stop in the car with my wife, it would really help me.

Haha. Well then I hope it's more grown up for you too. And I think it will be. I have faith in her. I don't think people realize how young she still is. She still has a lot to experience. Though I'll disagree about her last album. A lot of them were about love, but that's the case with any album, especially country.

There were some about growing up. Fifteen is a beautiful song about not knowing who you are in high school. I would hope anyone, young or old could relate to that song. Mean isn't about love I don't think, or Innocent, which I'm pretty sure was directed at Kanye West.

I heard that Mean was about Toby Keith because he did a song (can't think of it with the radio on over here) about talentless singers.

And I love love LOVE Taylor Swift's song "Never Grow Up". I sing it to my son all the time and it makes me cry, every time.
No matter what they say I've done, I ain't never had too much fun!

According to Rolling Stone magazine, "Mean" is about a small publication music critic that bashed Taylor Swift when she was first starting at 14 years old.

As for Toby Keith, that just makes me laugh. He has become the ultimate "gimmick" musician.

Yeah, I didn't know if there was any credibility to the Toby Keith/Taylor Swift rumors. Just something I heard.

She sure did! Probably tired of singing that song. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Sara, but I think she should've sang her other song.
