I know it's not SC related, but I've got to vent. I got in the car this morning to take my kids to school and turned on the radio. It's usually set to one of two Country stations in San Diego. To my dismay, I heard talk radio and news coming out of my speakers instead of Cindy Spicer. What the heck happened?
Apparently, Clear Channel Communications (who owns iHeartRadio) decided they would do away with the courtry format and simulcast their AM talk radio show on the FM station instead. Why not choose one of their other stations with overlapping formats? This sucks.
I'm not knocking the only remaining country station in San Diego (I listen to them too), but I have to say this is quite disappointing. Are there really so few country fans in SoCal that we have to lose a station?![]()
