    Talking Code of Conduct

I think vendors at Stagecoach need a code of conduct. Several vendors have sold anti-gay merchandise, particulary t-shirts, at Stagecoach. Is this what we want to see at a family-friendly venue?

Public intoxication should be banned & enforced.

Finally, the artists & attendees need to stop swearing. There is no need for this.

What we do need are more belt buckles. Yee haw!

    .... is this a joke?
Daddy cried when he saw my tatoo,
    Said he loves me anyway.
My brother got the brains of the family,
So I thought I'd learn to sing.

    If you can read....

Stagecoach Country Music Festival is committed to creating a safe, comfortable and memorable experience for our guests. In order to provide an environment where families can enjoy the festival, we have instituted a STAGECOACH CODE OF CONDUCT. This is not meant to detract from the fun but as a reminder to be respectful of others who are also trying to have a good time.

The following actions will result in a warning and/or towing of offender RV/Car Camping Vehicle:

    • Irresponsible use of alcohol
    • Public nudity or obscene clothing.
    • Accessing seated/restricted areas without proper passes.
    • Taunting, abusive or disruptive language and obscene gestures.
    • Moving RV to another location after placement by festival staff.
    • Parking or extending any part of RV in fire lanes or outside designated marked area.

If an individual participating in this behavior is uncooperative or a persistent offender, he/she will be removed from the festival site and passes will be revoked. In certain situations, the offender may be arrested.

The following actions will result in immediate ejection of festival grounds:

    • Urinating in public (anywhere other than a proper restroom)
    • Fighting or engaging in any action that may harm, endanger, threaten or bring discomfort to anyone.
    • Engaging in sexual behavior in public.
    • Possession/use of illegal drugs.
    • Damage, destruction, vandalism or theft of any property.

An individual participating in this behavior will be removed from the festival site and passes will be revoked. In certain situations, the offender may be arrested.

For the record, I agree with you (GPS) about the anti-gay merchandise. There's no need for ANY kind of hate in this world.

Now, putting that aside, WTF is wrong with public intoxication and swearing on PRIVATE grounds.... who's being the whiny bitch now ?!?!

How about I don't care how much of a bigot you are, just don't throw it in MY face? Seriously, if California's too liberal for you, there are plenty of other states you could be living in. Just a suggestion.

Spewing should be on the code of conduct. How many times have you sat down and noticed you just got vomit on your ass.

LOL. I decided in '08 (first year for me) to run around without shoes on 'til I saw a guy throw up a trail while stumbling to the bathroom. I ran back and got my shoes (flip flops) right away. I was staying off site, so the shower was much appreciated that night for the feet and the flip flops.

oh man, i came so close to it at coachella one year. that onslaught from my bloody valentine made a lot of people lose it, i believe. my tip for that place? never sit along a fence line. it is the first place people go to puke and piss when there are no other options around. when i see people sitting, leaning against a fence around the perimeter i cringe.

I remember last year I started a thread about how people should not drink at concerts because it ruins the experience and you don't fully get to be a part of the music. People got really mad about that one.
I want to rock and roll all night...and part of everyday
