Even with the sound issues on Saturday, my favorites were:

Darius Rucker
Kenny Chesney

Sunday....pretty much everyone who performed on the Mane Stage was my favorite act. I LOVED Josh Turner!!!! and Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts definitely were the show-stoppers of the weekend (especially with the announcement about bin Laden that Jay made during Rascal Flatts' set.....AWESOME end to an AWESOME weekend!!!)

Kris Kristofferson was really funny. He kept repeating lyrics and messing up playing guitar. He interacted with the crowd. To this one young lady up front he asked her if she was told he could sing and play? He just laughed. What a down to earth dude and made us feel like we were at his house in the backyard, just telling stories and playing us some good ole fashion music without all the glamour and glitz.

My favorite was K.D. Lang and the Siss Boom Bang. Great rockabilly group and oh those notes she can hit live, WITHOUT auto tune. Ivankay - perfection is right!!!

I was excited to see Darius Rucker but I was hoping he played more of his new stuff.

Kelly and I were in the VIP section on Saturday, so we never knew about the audio problems. It was great seeing and hearing Chris Young, Darius and kenny up close. Very different perspective.

But Sunday, I thought they all sounded great. I have never been a Carrie fan, but wow, she rocked it, with Paradise City and Walk this Way. I was impressed ! she is not just country !
Rascal Flatts were great, too. A good mix of old and new songs, celebrating their 10 yrs. After their announcement, they sang the Star Spangled Banner, and I tell ya, I had goose bumps. Very moving.

Darius Rucker, Josh Turner (cuz I'd never seen him live and his low voice is soooo sexy lol) and Carrie Underwood, man she's got a voice that can hit those notes-and strongly too! I'm glad we went early enough to see Joanna Smith too, I really enjoyed her performance as well. Festivalfan, I agree with you on Rascal Flatts, amazing rendition of Star Spangled Banner coupled with the announcement-made me so proud to be an American!

Chris Young! He was super fun and got the crowd going. Love that guy to begin with and was really looking forward to seeing him. Definitely didn't disappoint.
