    Default Friday night?

Are those who are staying in other lodging (i.e. - a hotel, someone's home, etc.) allowed to attend the Cantina on the concert grounds Friday night? I'll be staying at the Ramada and need something to do and let's face it - it IS Cinco de Mayo weekend after all. :-)

oooohhh good question!!!... I'm with ya on that.. sis and I are coming in Friday night and the well advertised gay bar isn't my scene.. (no I"m not slamming it so no need to jump on me on my post, it just isn't my thing...)....
If a man is breaking into your house, he ain't there for ice tea.

I researched bars in the area and there's not much to offer - a few places seem promising but their websites don't work or don't show much. I'm staying at the Ramada in PS and while downtown is 1.5 miles away, there aren't many places that seem hoppin' on a Friday. :-)

I would suggest going into Palm Springs, although I don't think there is much there country music wise. Great shopping in P.S. and Palm Desert.

There are alot of fun places on "strip" in downtown Palm Springs. The Village Pub is always great fun, it's indoor/outdoor. As for Palm Desert, there's The River at Hwy 111 and Bob Hope Drive, which has a Yard House, a BBQ Place (can't think of the name)with a great patio, and some other places in there that are alway alot of fun. If you want upscale club atmosphere, go the the Desert Springs Marriott - Costa's. That place usually has at least a couple of bachelor and bachelorete parties and is always good fun. As for Indio area, I'm not sure, maybe the Beer Hunter? We'll be in town Friday afternoon, and I'm sure we'll be doing a pub crawl all afternoon and night, so if anyone wants to hang out with us for some fun let me know!

Oohh a Pub Crawl? You said the magic words. I'm game. :-)

Thanks for the tips on where to go. I'll print it out.

It doesn't necessarily have to be country music related (Friday night), but something fun to do - have a few adult beverages.
