Like the petition, however, will say positively that Senators and Congressmen are on the Federal Employees Retirement System.......they only get to take home more then most of us federal employees cuz they make so much more!!! I had been told they take home $139,00 a year pension after only 6 years in office for senators.....unless they've been in other federal jobs that isn't true - but they get more then me for sure!!!!!
