Loretta Lynn, known as the queen of country music, has canceled her appearance at the April 30-May 1 Stagecoach country music festival, it was announced today.
Goldenvoice promoter Paul Tollett said Lynn, who turned 79 on Thursday, injured her knee and had to cancel or postpone all of her upcoming performances.
Stagecoach: California’s Country Music Festival, is expecting record attendance for its fifth annual event at the Empire Polo Club in Indio.
The festival is being headlined by Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts and Carrie Underwood with k.d. lang as a special attraction.
