Coachella map and location for BBQ Championship

So wait, are they moving the stage back to how it was in 2009? I thought last years setup in the corner was soooo much better and had way more room, less fire lane issues, etc. Just my thoughts though!

last years set up sorry to say but it was bad the audio was so delayed and just the extra speakers spread out had a terrible sound... they had similar at coachella last week with more speakers back further but they put way too much bass in those and it was hard to hear any vocals.... it would be great if they would put all the speakers up front... so i really hope they go with the old set up

The Venue map on the web site shows the same set-up as last year 2010. Really hope they keep it that way, much better to get around then prior years.

Here is the Stagecoach venue set-up.

Last year we took our SCMB group picture right next to the Mustang Stage and the BBQ area started across from that tent and went down to the area across from the Palamino Stage. From what I'm gathering from Thom the BBQ area is now going to be located in front of where the open area is on this map. (Left of where the Soap tent was) or if you look on Thom's map it says "TERRACE" and that is where the BBQ will be located.

One is eliminated That filled in area was a parking lot
in 2010 now it's is grass and called the Terrace
with a Ferris wheel and food court kids activities

Oh great! I loved the setup last year, less of a fire hazard and less people shoving you everywhere, more room! I didn't have a speaker issue, but I wasn't up front

I liked our location last year- Sunday that is. Saturday was not fun. We had lots of room to spread out, and easy to find.
