I am thinking about going to buy me some. Any good recipes that include an oven or a crock pot since I don't have a bbq?

"hickory flavored" maybe other smoke flavors

1. This is why most of us only eat BBQ the WHOLE weekend of SC...and I will again this year!!!
2. No gas grill either, and I can not count my George Foreman as a bbq grill LOL

4. (not to offend anyone) Valley Ranch BBQ was off the hook good on their babies but closed a couple of years ago due to the economy. Dr. Hoggly Woggly's is close by but I am not a fan along with not being a fan of the Bear Pit. They have off the hook Texas toast or whatever they call it but that is it for me.
5. BEST bbq (other than SC) was in Memphis, TN at (surprisingly) an Irish Restaurant. It was baby backs with a memphis dry rub and needed no sauce. I can't wait to go back someday soon.
6. 99 cents a pound is a GREAT deal. Just need to figure out how to cook them WITHOUT a country bbq man in my life.

I am cooking at the Palm Springs Rodeo this weekend

or Google ( Cooking spare ribs 3 2 1 method )the results will be what we do
just substitute the oven for the smoker and add a VERY small amount
of liquid smoke to the recipe

My local Ralphs sold out the 99cent rib deal in 15 minutes. Even the employees couldn't get hooked up. I did get a rain check that is good for 2 months. I can't make Palm Springs this weekend but I look forward to eating your food at Stagecoach.

Our contest and many of the food vendors will be there
Openings have been cut in the wall and fence so folks can walk
toward any stage they want to
This change leaves much more room in the concert area
