now this is the question! i can tell you that the memories i have of my mom and i takin off from work/school to do something wild & crazy & just have a blast are the best memories of my childhood. regardless you guys will make some awesome memories!

JK. No, don't tell him! Mine had her teacher asking for a concert shirt last year! I asked what happened to 'keep this to ourselves'? Her reply, 'I only told my best friend.' (who told her best friend, who told her best friend, who had the teacher coming out to the car at the end of the school day....)

hahah thats great. i had a teacher that was too cheep to buy dry erase markers, she made her kids (me) buy them for her.

Just bumping this thread - I'm driving out on Friday afternoon (2:30-ish) to Palm Springs Travelodge....have a rental car and have room for 2....

I have caved and slid......completely.

Coming back Monday morning - NOT at 5:30 a.m., but have to be back in SD by 1 p.m. to return the rental car.
