So...I have a real cute boy to come with me tubing now! Met him Sunday night and he came and changed my locks last night and we are going on a date tonight. Still need to book the spot! Couple other friends coming too, soooo excited for this trip!

This is the second guy in as many weeks that you seem to have completely fallen for after one night. Trust me, you are inviting lots of headaches and heartaches. And you're going to invite a guy you barely know to hang out for a weekend with close friends. You really don't know him well enough to determine if he's going to be any fun or get along with the rest of the crew. Or if you will enjoy spending that much time with him. It can be a challenge to go away for a weekend with your best friend; doing it as a date after just a couple of weeks has disaster written all over it.

Before anyone calls me negative, I'm not being a wet rag here. I'm looking out for Karena as if she was my little sister.

LMAO, completely fallen for? Not even close! Just a nice cute guy is all. He's a friend of one of my good friends. Not much potential as far as anything long-term, just somebody to have fun with. Just came at a good time that's all, needed some cheering up! Still talking to Dylan, nothing has changed there. And I haven't "fallen" fo him either, but I will say I am definitely smitten with my kiwi boy! but this new guy is just someboyd chill to hang out with. Contrary to your belief, I don't just "fall" for every guy I meet! I've only been with 2 (well, kiwi is 3) guys in nearly a year!

I didn't read this thread yesterday - but so deleted her after reading the "everything" thread. I don't want to have anything to do with someone who treats their "friends" that way.

I think she seriously has some problems that she needs to deal with in her life - and I really hope she does - but what she did was unforgiveable - whether or not she's able to change.

i personally wouldn't go away for a weekend with a guy i just met let alone invite him to go camping with my friends. mostly because you don't know if he will like everyone and vice versa. hell you could start a weekend trip in love and by the time you set up your tent you could hate each other. BUT let's all give Karena the benefit of the doubt - if she thinks he's fun and will be a good addition to the trip then i say let's welcome him with open arms. and if he was a douche would we really let him ruin our weekend - NO. it's going to be a fun trip and i'm sure we'll all get along. don't worry Roy!

Rich said he has extra tents, but that whole thing is still in the air. Not sure about travel arrangements. I'll drive and can fit one or two more people depending on the amount of stuff we have. For me right now it depends on who's going. If neither Danielle nor Rich nor Vinn is going, I will have room for 1 or 2! As far as time, don't know. I do know that if Roy thinks 80 is fast, he might wanna leave a couple hours earlier than the rest of us! LOL!

i asked my wife to go to paris with me for valentines day 2 weeks after meeting her...it was such a disaster that we now have 2 great kids and an amazing life together. jus sayin'.

Awww, what a sweet story! I love hearing things like that. And while it's rare, anything is possible when it comes to love. My good friend has been with her boyfriend for about 9 months and they are already talking to a wedding coordinator for next summer. They are perfect though. I have met few people that I've connected with INSTANTLY and had actual feelings for right away. The kiwi is one of them. But I am definitely keeping myself grounded on this one, it's just nice to dream
