yes, lets get our tickets purchased first..and get through all the events scheduled before this trip!! plenty of time to plan, funny how we're focused on getting the right floatie though. I'm going to Amazon now, need to check out the artillary floatie Adam's getting, too.

If you sign up for an Amazon credit card, they give you $40 on your account to start. That's how I was able to buy all that stuff! And they gave me a $2,000 credit limit. I'm in trouble, lol. Nah, I'm usually good about this stuff!

Yeah, and that particular ice chest is like a nylon bag, but the reviews were great, and it also lifts out of the floatie for easy carry with a shoulder strap. I thin kI'll use the cooler in the center of my raft for my iPod speaker. It's waterproof but I don't think it can be completely submersed!

I've only ever done solo rafting, but you typically tie everyone's rafts together with rope (it's mellow, no currents) so you're not really moving anyhow.

Oh, and just a heads up, my friend who is orgnanizing all of this, Gigi, DOES like country. Not sure about all the friends going with her though. It's gonna be a variety of music I'm sure

And yes, Brad's "Water" song is perfect for this venture!

OK - So I told Chev that the event I was committed to this weekend was cancelled so I'm in! I don't have a tent so as soon as I find one to borrow I'm in! Unless anyone can fit an extra body in theirs?

Bummed the other thing I was going to got cancelled but I was also bummed that I was going to miss this trip. It sounds like so much fun!

I have a 6 person tent.....do you think that will be too much? It's really easy to put up too. Let me know if anyone wants to bunk with me, otherwise, I'll just bring my little tent.
