so who won? I had my rv all decorated spent hours on it and didn't even hear a word as i pulled in besides one security saying "NICE! Have any bottles?" i walked around ed I and ed II and there were a few nice ones in ed I... like the airbrushed trailer... so i was woundering who WON?

And just want to put this out there, it doesn't matter if your car decorations are super awesome (like the one above) or you just have the visible minimum requirements (although the awesome ones sure are fun). If the magic moment of crossing paths happens when you are driving in (just like a lottery) and the car and occupants are qualified, you will get your chance to draw a prize. i just take the pictures, wait with the GV peeps and usually ask the questions of qualification. we see soooo many cars that don't participate before we actually catch a qualified one. Why didn't we see your car? Just chance. Buck up. Some who win have played since the beginning.

We decorated the truck and trailer everywhere and when we pulled in some lady asked us if we charged people to ride with us? She said when she thinks of car pool that means we were suppose to pick up random people off the street and charge them to ride in with us??? WTH?? Does anyone know if this was part of the rules? I had never heard of such a thing. So I guess we didn't win cause that was the only person that approached us. Were there spotters on Thursday night?

Yes. we were out there on Thursday. And picking up people in need of a ride would only help you if you were short of the required minimum of 4 people in your vehicle. Or needed someone to chip in for gas money.

I have to say that this year people went all out with decorating their cars and RV's. I even saw an RV that a GIANT printout of a thread here from the message boards. I pointed to my girlfriend (first stagecoach) and said "rose" is me. LOL

One RV had an amazing mural painting on their RV of a Stagecoach etc. Anyone get a picture of that?

We did have four people in our vehicle they were just in the trailer getting beers cause we had been waiting so long to get in. Did they have to be in vehicle at the time the spotter saw us?

When a spotter spots a potential candidate to draw a prize, 4 or more should be in the car when that happens. If there aren't obviously 4 or more in the car when spotted, the spotter will not see a qualification being fulfilled and look to find one that is. If there is doubt, closer inspection and question asking ("How many people are in the car?") happens.
That person who approached you was not a spotter.

That's it!!! WOW, and just amazing. If anybody knows these people could they tell me how long it took them to do this mural? Did they win a prize? because they deserve it for sure.

The lady who was part of this masterpiece said it was her talented friend that did the painting. i didn't find out how long it took. Although deserving (like all who participate), this one was not spotted as it drove in. She did say next year's would be just as good if not better.
